    9/10 so far

Has anyone's reaction been that strong? Personally I think 9/10 is too high but very pleased with what has been a great season so far. Many expect far too much and are destined to never be happy with their football

Highest score given for us at halfway review. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/premier-league/10541791/Premier-League-report-Telegraph-Sport-experts-give-their-verdict-at-the-halfway-stage-of-the-season.html
  4. Ironic how some get so upset at people spoiling their perceived image of what a football fan should be when they seem to want to be the 'cool' caricature which could be equally mocked. Having said that I used to feel exactly the same but am older now and have a more live and let live approach rather making my life a little colder. Telling the use of mong and spastic in posts. Can't get respect from being educated and successful but seek in in Stone Island clobber and frowning on the happy people who don't give a sh1t. Who is sadder?

  6. Why? They Fck up and then have to come out and try and justify it in public which would be impossible as footage shows they got it wrong. What would this achieve? Or do people expect them to stick to original decisions in light of contrary evidence? As unpalatable as it is it to see such poor standard of refereeing it would achieve little. Is the lino who got the Sterling offside decision wrong meant to be interrogated and shown footage and asked 'why did you get it so wrong?' 'Errrr dunno I clearly thought he was the last man' enlightening stuff thanks. Or are we expecting ' I've always supported City and didn't want them to concede'? Technology is the solution.
  7. I just hope football is the winner
  8. Cheers for that. Just bought 6 tickets.
  9. Yet Giggs continues to have saintly status when carrying on with his brother's missus. No fan of JT but absolutely no consistency in media witch hunts
  10. Must be wrong it was foregone conclusion and nothing was going to stop it happening. Barry told me this.
  11. Cheers - surprised they didn't do their research as seems simple.
  12. Retired from playing football finally this year and can already see the negative effects. Definitely going to get back into running. And need to shed over a stone. Has any one tried these tracker bracelet (Jawbone and FItbit) things? Don't want to waste £80+ for glorified pedometer but if they work then money well spent.
  13. I take it Morgan definitely is suspended? No reference to it here but mentions Barry and Howard http://www.itv.com/sport/football/article/2013-12-27/premier-league-team-news-everton-v-southampton/
  14. Does anyone actually under rate him now though? I started a similar post a few weeks back and everyone was saying the same thing about how dependable he is.
  15. Now has a broken finger
  16. It is like the summer transfers didn't happen
  17. Now I think you are being awkward or are just a bit slow on uptake.
  18. You are having this argument with yourself though and throwing in spurious references to the New Forest for good measure. I have no more time unfortunately but you have shown failure to grasp my point so no reason to think even over time that you may and appear to have a very simplistic view of transfer market and contracts.
  19. I imagine Lallana woudl have same professional attitude shown by Baines. Not all players are like van Hooijdonk.
  20. Fck me you think every player gets the transfer they want immediately?
  21. Agree although subsequent contract is not the point though. Even if he didn't sign anything he still didn't leave in August despite all indications he was desperate to and having offers.
  22. This is hard work. Short term he stayed. If he wanted to go still he will. You do understand contracts I assume? Does Cabaye play for Arsenal now?
  23. I don't think the argument is whether Utd can attract our best players - of course they can and has always been the case. The point is if they want him in Jan transfer window it is not a given that he will go, whether he wants to or not.
  24. The point was if a player wants to go nothing you can do about it. Pretty much every journo was saying he would but Liverpool proved didn't have to cave in. This was before his new contract btw.
  25. And you don't appear to be reading my posts. Just creating the extreme opposing viewpoint in your own mind and responding to it when no one has said it.
