@RonaldKoeman: I tried to explain why I am angry after this defeat! This is not the discipline what we like in the Club to be successful!

Four points from the last 24 available. If you replicate the last eight results over the remaining 18 games, we take nine more points and finish on 35 points. In the last five season, if a team has finished on 35 points then it has not been enough to survive.

Sorry, I don't understand the question...?

Those who write the copy for the newspaper do not write the headlines or even the stand first. That's done by the newspaper's own sub-editors, at their offices.

I'm sure we won't have Pellè. Hopefully we'll have Cédric, in which case I'd go... Stekelenburg; Cédric, Fonte, Van Dijk, Bertrand; Clasie, Wanyama; Mané, S. Davis, Tadić; Long.

Amen.

The first goal was freak. Antonio fell over, the clearance deflected and looped over the goalkeeper. Slightly disappointed not to see Maarten dive for the second though. Feels like Forster would have thrown himself at it at least.

Today we played with such high intensity in the first half. It worked to our benefit and carved us numerous chances. We didn't score enough of them. It then caught up with us. We got tired, sat deeper and conceded more fouls. A freak first goal and then a poor second goal to concede. We need to take more chances and hopefully we will against Norwich.

- Started with high intensity - Went 1-0 up - Playing very well - Wasted chances - Could've gone in 4-0 at HT - Couldn't keep the intensity up - (understandable) - Dropped deeper - Committed more fouls - Freak goal for 1-1 - Tap in off the bar after poor defending for 2-1 - Game over Could've been resolved by being more prolific in front of goal first half. On to Norwich, now...

WurzlSepp: Seriously if you really think this is thanx to Southampton doing good then you need a reality check. Our players are just arrogant. Oh, the irony... -

@SimonPeach: Koeman on Wenger's complaints about the goals: "Only the first three? Did he not say anything about the fourth? That's strange..." -
Spanish commentary of Cuco's goal - it's ace: http://screengrabber.deadspin.com/cuco-martina-stuns-arsenal-with-blistering-strike-1749784235?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_twitter&utm_source=deadspin_twitter&utm_medium=socialflow

Koeman called for a battling display and for the players to show fight and win their individual battles, and boy did they respond! Not the prettiest game, but goals from Cuco Martina (and what a goal!), Shane Long (twice) and José Fonte (baby) bring an end to the winless run. Still 12th, but now just five points away from the Europa League spots.

Fans now singing: "There's only one Ronald Koeman!" Ronald stands up and applauds.
