I would go with these 3. Any Saints-clappy that claims MoPo deserves a place really is barking.
-
Lets face it, we brought in The Gash and let Puncheon go, and we brought in Osvaldo and let both Billy Sharp and Mayuka go. Its hard to see how any of the three departures would have done worse under any circumstances than their replacements. Might have looked good on paper, but both decisions have been proven to be absolute turkeys, and wouldnt be surprised if they had some impact on Katharina Liebherr's thinking over the past 6 months.

A couple. Reckon we will make 50. But dont think our record is in danger. I thought last week we might get 10. More fool me..... Mopo let the team switch off at the end of last season, and hes letting them do it again this season.
-
Still contributed more in the last few weeks than The Gash ever will for us...
-
Oh dear. Another "one of those days"...

Nothing to do with her being a bit of a sh*g-piece, of course.... Queen Elizabeth 2 for me. God Bless yer Mam...

LOL at your post being ignored. Totally underlines the "play the man, not the ball" mentality around here.

Even Morgan Schneiderlin is pointing out in todays online Echo just how critical this summer is. The one good thing out of that piece is that at least he seems to be open to staying with us, and hasnt already agreed/decided to leave.
-
Yeah, well if he isnt even willing to discuss his own future with club officials, that "planning" has about as much basis in reality as the monkey petting zoo.
-
Would be absolutely delighted if we get 19m for the two wasters.
-
Instead we are currently managed by an Argentinian famous for being the victim when England played dirty against them..
-
Oh, do grow up. I was clearly p*ssed off at the Sunderland result (a recurrent theme this season too..)
-
Wow, someone on here lecturing me about thinking forwards to next season !! Superb, lets hope some of the management at SFC arent as myopic (only we already know Mopo is, because he doesnt even want to think about his own position apparently, so its nailed-on that he isnt even think about which positions to strengthen and with whom..)
-
Yep, and I have always credited his return from Olympic injury as being part of our turn-around last season too.

You are without peer on this site when it comes to spin and making things up. The discussion about Lallana, Morgan and J-Rod were completely different, and you know it. I dont think the Gash wants to be here and therefore simply cannot be bothered to knuckle down, work , address the issues with his play, and put himself into first XI contention. My criticisms of Lallana and Schneiderlin back in the pre-relegation to L1 Championship days was that their play was all fart and no sh*t. Which it was. Both have matured into exceptional players, so I have admitted being wrong about them and perhaps it was to do with the crap surrounding them. I was criticising Adkins, not J-Rod. I asked why the hell we bought him because of how he was being used. I couldnt give a f**k if you think I was being racist or not, to be honest. You opinion has little value for me, so distorted as it is. I think our acquisitions from Serie A have been an utter disaster. End of.

All this pedantry and smugness from the man who brought you this :
-
So why do so many teams spend so much money on players from Italy if it is so high-risk ? And it still doesnt discount the possibility that he simply has never "been in to us".
-
Totally unconvinced by the "ill-fitting style-of-play" argument. Good players can adapt (if they want to). Maybe hes not as good as the hype....
-
If he had come through the academy, yes you are right; he wouldnt have cost us 12m in transfer fee and an estimated 5m in wages. The point about his nationality is complete b*ll*cks, apart from the fact that his call-ups for Uruguay give him all the excuse he needs for swinging the lead for us because it is so far away (is it further than Japan?) As a fan of a club that has always had to count its pennies in the past (and perhaps it still does...), yes, monstrous transfer fees and wages for f**k-all return bothers me intensely.
-
Spot on. The comparison of Yoshi back in the squad a week after an international call-up compared to Gashy taking a month especially strikes a chord. The bloke's taken us for a ride. I am guessing we were a stepping stone into a big English club for him, like Berkovic, but it didnt work out so he wants to tuck his tail between his legs (hopefully it wont get injured...) and bog off back to Italy.
-
Excellent news. Hopefully we'll get most of his transfer fee back to spend on someone who actually wants to be here and is interested in the cause.
-
Yep, the lack of self-awarness he shows whilst character-assassinating others is amazing...........
-
Au contraire, I wasnt attempting to highlight my joke. Quoting oneself is pathetic attention-seeking. And I did not do that. I was genuinely pointing out that not one of the clappies who bang on about how fantastic he is actually view his contribution as being of any importance. Thats patently hillarious....

Personally I reckon all the right-wing agitation is being stoked up and funded by the Russians as an excuse for them to invade at some yet to be decided point. Its mid-30s Nazi tactics all over again. And when the authorities in Ukraine move to take back control of these stupid little occupations and delcarations of independence in towns like Donetsk, it just gives the Russians even more excuse.
