SFC still run like a crappy seaside B & B

No, you are making this about me. You have failed to address any of the criticisms I have made. -

This aint just about transfers though. It seems the club just shuts down after the last game and then the various people responsible for policy come back a month later with ruffled hair and scratching their arses like they've just woken up. -

So you dont think any of the points I have raised merit any consideration ? Dont bother asking yourself why we will never hit the top 4 or qualify for the Champions League, will you ? I mean, falling over the start line of the season (and then falling over the finish line) is what SFC is all about, isnt it ? -
Sorry, held off as long as I could, but my natural impatience is getting the better of me... SFC is supposed to be a year-long professionally-run operation in one of the most celebrated and quality leagues of the best-likes spectator sport in the world. But come June, almost f**k-all is going on. We have no date for the kit release, though I am guessing the club has been negotiating with Addidas for f**king months. I remember even when we were back at the Dell a couple of times the next seasons kit was paraded round the field in the last couple of home games, and the likes of Chelsea and Manyoo can give previews at the beginning of the summer. We have no indicators of in-bound transfer activity, though we managed the time to tell 8 players "thanks but f**k off" Oh, we did manage to set the ST price, but then thats money.... Does every manager in every department just p*ss off for a month after the last game, like a crappy B&B shutting down for the winter ? IMO, the summer is the busiest time for some of the people at the club. Rant over, Sorry.

Yep, you keep repeating that old mantra... -

Yep, and so far theres not even a sniff of one half-decent signing. -
Which brings us back to Red Bull.

Nope. Not a chance. -
Jesus. most of the top 4-6 clubs in England are interested in having him, and are willing to pay him top-notch moolah for his services. If we dont match that ambition, why shouldnt he leave ? Or at the least have a feeling of invincibility because of the interest. I used to get really incensed about this sort of stuff, now I shrug my shoulders in resignation when I read such stories. English football is obscene and peverse when it comes to finance. Clubs can either go-with-the-flow, get relegated, or muddle along hoping that somehow good organisation and management can make the difference. We are in the last category, and it was also, in fairness to him, what Lowe was trying to do (but wrecked by his egotism, control freakery and the fact that he wasnt a particulary good manager anyway). FWIW, Shaw is going to leave somewhen, sooner or later. It will be later if we are capable of competing this season.

I see VTTS are now saying that an extension for the 2014/2015 display seasons is possible, if they get enough donations, citing new tricks to strengthen the wings after originally saying that 2013 was going to be the last season due to engine availability They want to be careful they dont cry "wolf" one time too often...

Then, with a nod to our history, it should be a Rank Xerox kit to represent the pinnacle of our achievement last time round, and to set the bar for this time.

OFFICIAL: Adidas announced as new kit supplier
alpine_saint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Great, so as of the 1st June they produce our kit. Great, the factory wheels (meaning slaves in the Far East) are turning, but there is no product to buy as of yet. Failing to see why that means the old stuff cannot be sold off. -
England already has a dearth of identified talent, as demonstrated by the massively inflated proportion of foreigners in the EPL, and by the performance of the national teams. Go on, bellends at the FA, make matters worse by cutting the knees off of the currently most successful youth programme in the country.... I really wonder about the people who run the game in this country.

How can the deal have started if there is nothing to buy yet ? -

Not entirely convinced by that argument. I am sure NCs brief is all about spreading the brand. And a lot of neutrals wear kits of teams they dont support if said kit has a striking and cool styling, or if the team become prominent for good play. I am hoping for both next season -
A serious post - the club acting disgracefully.

Theres always the chance for me to pick one up over here, or at least with less P & P from an addidas outlet over here if this is the case. -
