I thought it was William Shatner's ? Love the little caption "Evil-gasm" that pops up when Khan expresses his satisfaction, like he has just whacked one off A classic moment of motion picture history, which ever way you look at it.

Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me. But, I've just been doing some rummaging in the corners of my memory, and double-checking something on Wikipedia, and you may be on to something. Why ? In the original series second pilot "Where no Man Has Gone Before", the planet Mitchell has been marooned on is Delta Vega. The planet older Spock and Kirk were marooned on in the 2009 film was.....Delta Vega. Coincidence, or does this somehow provide a plot lever ? Anyway, cant see how Dehner will be in the film, Mitchell killed her.

Oh dear Mr Vettel might not be champion after all.

Yep, I was going to write something similar in my post. The real inheritor of the "F1 spolit bastard" title from Schumacher is Alonso. Someone remind me which team they both ended up at for large periods of their racing career ??? -
Khan Noonien Singh without Ricardo Montalban is like roast beef without yorkshire pudding. Sorry, aint going to work, especially with Benedict Cucumber playing the role, who is as white as a sheet. For me Gary Mitchell is too obscure, besides always found that actor (was in 2001 too) to be a humourless pompous sod, so dont like that episode. Also, if that character can return, so could Charlie X or Trelane, that sort of "omnipotent stroppy kid" role occurs frequently through the whole history of Star Trek (John de Lancie as Q being yet another example). Suppose we'll have to wait and see. Personally rather they came up with something original.

Schumacher on several occasions ran his closest competitor in the Drivers Championship off the track in the last race, meaning that he won the Championship by default. He is a prize sh*t. The similarities between him and Vettel stop at both driving F1 cars. Vettel to the best of my knowledge has never done anything like that. Really, Brits need to get past the "all Germans are arrogant genocidal arseholes who have their Beezelbub horns cut off shortly after birth" menatlity. It makes us look paranoid, petty and plain stupid. We have a massive amount of common ground culturally with them. -
I am sure there are other web sites out there more suitable for such tastes..

Wow. This needed another thread...

You can all stop getting yer knickers in a twist. The EU have told the government that minimum booze pricing would be illegal anyway.

11,000 unfilled places, largely suspected to be due to the massive hike in tuition fees, suggest not.

Ferrari and Alonso are a bunch of bad losers, who also think the sport owes them something. -

I'd rather have Scholes than Beckham. -
Released this evening, sentence cut from 18 to 12 months, rest suspended. Personally reckon conviction should have been quashed so his service record is clear and he gets his pension, but at least he is home with his family, and in time for Xmas.

Oh, its not his wife picking the locations at all, is it ? LA -> Monaco. I see a pattern developing here. F**k knows how Manchester fitted in. Were they married back then ? -

That excludes the scowling Vildea mop who gave birth to his kids as well, then. -

Right, Shaw is a better number 23 anyway. -
Good post. If you are going to do serious PhD or post-grad research, Oxbridge and a couple of others are the only choices, since they get all the moolah. For under-grad and Masters levels, as long as the uni in question is a genuine red-brick and has a reputation for turning ou good graduates in your field, it doesnt matter which, so go for the one with the best nitelife and totty.

Respect to your sister. I didnt even bother applying. I got the grades that were necessary back in the mid-80s when I left Richard Taunton College, but I was going through a big-league rebellious/get the f**k away from the parents as far as possible without falling off the edge of civilization aka Scotland vibe, so Manchester, Newcastle and Nottingham were my application choices, ending up with Manchester.

Thus enedth the discussion. He's going to be after his last football-related hooray; "sensible" aint gonna get a look in. I do like the naiive thought that his pay would be covered by extra shirt sales. And I can just imagine the next time I go to an outdoor fair in Austria next summer, all the stands, run by Indians/Pakistanis/Bangladeshis selling bootleg football shirts, will be stacked high with the red-and-white pinstripes of Southampton FC with "BECKHAM" half-peeling off or smudged across the shoulders Is number 23 free, btw ? -

I was primarily thinking of him and his bint, and you know it. -
As things stand, we are battling for 17th. I was starting to get my hopes up that we had turned a corner over the last few games, then last night the usual brain fart came from one of the back 5. However, if we successfully address the back 5 in the next 6 weeks (GK, CB, maybe a LB), we can look towards sitting on the top of the bottom half of the table.

Dear god no, he can f**k off. No way do we want that narcissistic family coming along and ruining club and team spirit. -
ITs not tiresome moaning when she comments on the game, its tiresome moaning when she whines on about the contributions from other posters.
