All that hope and excitement. Gone.

No its not.

Absolutely f**king bonkers. FFS.
-
Still no substitutions ? Adkins out.
-
25m wasted. J-Rod - crap Ramirez - Mayuka - splinters in arse from bench.
-
Given up ?
-
Is Cork still not fit, FFS ?
-
Sounds like he was backing off because he had 2 players to cover. Which bellend left him exposed, FFS ?
-
Oh, FFS.

According to the Beeb, we have more possession than WBA. Still, you just have this feeling that the defensive mistake is round the corner. Sounds like Adam needs a game or two on the bench if he really is exposing Fox.

They were still nailed to the crosses at the end of the film......

Great summary. Reckon I made the right decision all-round shying away from a shirt purchase this year. Especially as this season is going to be one to forget.

Nooope. "Hanging by a thread" means there is still a chance.

I really do not get posts like this. We are in a huge rut in terms of performance, and table position; of course it and our prospects in the light of various actions at the club are going to be discussed and speculated upon. Most people are under the impression the team is expected to play in a certain way, but doesnt have the quality and experience to do so, so we are easy to turn over. And because of the closed window (and maybe certain closed minds) regarding transfers, it seems highly unlikely we can do anything to change this, even in January when we may well be adrift. That's not negativity, pessimism or "trolling", its a reasonable assessment of where we are today. Its hardly suprising so many are down about it. What do you expect to be discussed ? In what tone ? FFS...

Take away Central Africa and Central Asia, and that is a very short list indeed. Both those areas are land-locked and worthless in terms of trade, which probably explains our lack of interest in them historically. In this context the Ivory Coast's oversight is interesting.

Mock all you want, but even Lawrenson's recent "There's no way hes going to Southampton" sneer about Gaston goes a long way to show his (after all, we were originally talking about him) and Auntie's attitude toward us. I mean, Jesus, I've seen it, he even interrupted the presenter to slap that one down before the presenter had even finished his sentence, so sure was he of the outcome.

Some of The Jam tracks are classic (post-)punk anthems. The history of pop music would be much duller without them. But.... I couldnt sit and listen to a whole album, and simply do not rate Weller's solo stuff at all. I cannot stand the "David Bowie re-invention to desperately stay in the limelight" mentality he seems to suffer from.

With all due respect, all I did was give an opinion on the thread theme, I didnt abuse anybody or set out to wind-up anyone specifically. All I did was call it pointless and then explain why I felt that. Is calling something pointless inherently offensive and/or abusive ? I think not. I was thinking of the subject, not the response it would get. He then started the abuse, which is the reason I assume he has been infracted and I havent. I aint perfect, but as far as I can tell I largely observe the site rules. Unless a rule about posting negative opinions about the team has recently been added, of course... The only thing I possibly should/could have done better is put "imo" after, I suppose.

Didnt we square up to Guatemala in 1972 over Belize ?

Maybe the other way round works too.

Boney M were great. I love getting their Greatest Hits out at Xmas. But Aqua - "Barbie Girl" ?? Robson & Jerome ??? FFS. And too much X-Factor sh*t there for my liking. -
Jesus, there are some real shockers in here. http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/datablog/2012/nov/04/uk-million-selling-singles-full-list Tellytubbies sold more than Rod Stewart, FFS. I wonder about the British public. Nice to see New Order in the mix with Blue Monday.
