U what ??? How would Romney have been impotent with a majority in the House ??? And yes, imo you are shallow. Obama is about as articulate as Ronald Reagan without his glass screens. Not sure I want the Western world led by a dribbling fool. And your question is just plain ridiculous. A better analogy would be "Is there less or more racism in football since Rio Ferdinand started going on about a black players union?". I am not saying it is right at all, but if any minority interest group, whether it be blacks, women, gays, etc. starts differentiating itself from the rest of society, and in a text-book definition of the word start acting in a discriminatory manner themselves, it triggers a response from those elements in the rest of society that have a problem with them. But, WTF, you carry on rolling with your bandwagon of cliches..

Never. Turnover is never 100%, so you cannot tell. Even the graph from trousers shows no majority in the post-war period. Tories almost managed it in 1955.

Apparently not. He's still there.

I've commented on this frequently. Of course there is more to say when things are going wrong. Thats just human nature. There are only so many ways to say "Well Done, This is Great, I am Happy", whereas things may have gone wrong in a multitude of different ways. Have you ever tried posting any sort of criticism, even constructive criticism, of a player or the team on here followng a good win ? If there is one reaction more violent than criticising after a bad defeat, its the reaction when criticising following a good win.

Doesnt sound so tw*ttish....

What, we were bullied into Afgahnistan and Iraq, were we ?

Yes, superb word. Never forget how Keith Allen says it in the Comic Strip episode "The Yob"

And I feel the same as I did about Pardew. Not desperate enough to see him go that I am going to shout it from the rooftops, but apart from a nostalgic twinge about the last 2 seasons he gave us, I wont be slashing my wrists if he goes.

This.

What a ridiculous accusation. That poster refers on several occasion to multiple posters on here. Besides, what do we care what they think ? Even better if the fans attending this weekend show theres a bit lof life left in the old dog yet, and get our team up. For heavens sake, grow up a bit, please.

Yep, utterly bizarre.

We have some skill players, but the team does need more fight.

Not comfortable with this "Cork Second Coming" attitude that is developing.

The Joiners is legendary, but I think The Brook might have something to say about this.

I reckon this is b*ll*cks. Sorry.

If they really are, he's no longer seriously interested in management. He said he'd be honoured to be asked, he didnt say he'd take it. Classic Wee Gordon response.

Yes, I am not a fan. I think he is on a par with Jimmy Carter in effectiveness and competence. Its clear you are a fan, and your comments reflect this. You comment about "new, costly wars" was a complete diversion that didnt even address my points. Oh, and a valliant attempt to blame all his short comings on the Republicans, but I'm afraid it just sounds like second-rate politicking... EDIT: My personal opinion - having the milestone of the first black President was a massive step forward for the minority communities in the US. I simply think that Colin Powell shouldnt have lost his balls and it should have been him. The first black president having more Republican values might have promoted better harmony over the issue in the US.

I wasnt finger-pointing. I was making an observation about the situation.

Vialli hasnt worked in management in 10 years and is a TV pundit in Italy. No thanks. If Strachan is deep-down still interested in managing, I dont see why he would be reluctant, tbh. He isnt going to get a better opportunity than this. Di Canio is an intruiging prospect. Could be a major success or a serious f**king disaster...

I am glad someone has had the bravery to say what has needed to be said for a long time.

This is a great post.

Post of the decade. Would also add that anyone who posts about who they have on ignore, or whining about not quoting certain people, should also be banned.

Yep.
