Thats it, we're stuffed.

Lets see how the Peter Jackson re-make of Dambusters turns out before we support anyone touching Battle of Britain. For me, I am not sure they could get a cast with enough gravitas together for a BoB re-make. That cast was eye-watering. Interesting that Skyfall has been commented upon on here, BoB was produced by Harry Saltzman and directed by Guy Hamilton, both of which are more famous for the James Bond movies.

You can consider my opinion to be pointless if you wish; nevertheless it is my opinion. Gonna do anything about wild-saint's abuse breaking the rules you are supposed to be upholding ?
-
Have you never noticed it takes them about 10mins to update the score when its our goal, and 30 seconds when its the opposition ? You believe what you want, but the BBC has never had time for us. I still get angry when I think of the radio commentary of the 1979 League Cup Final. At 10 years old, it was the first time I had an inkling that the world isnt fair.

Ukraine sounds an awful place to live at the moment; Yanukovych seems to be modelling himself on Stalin. Isnt Kharkiv prison where Tymoshenko is being held in hiedous conditions ? Back to the question. For reasons that I have never been able to fathom, I have always looked out for Crystal Palace results.

I remember the start of every season when we were in the PL last time, and he had started working as a pundit. He was always asked "whos going down" and everytime, the first team out of the hat was "Southampton". He comes from that breed of Liverpool/Manyoo player who resented making the long journey down-and-back (and therefore losing their Saturday night) to that pokey club with that pokey stadium and being butt-f*cked in front of the national media

I am sure you dont understand. She is standing up for us in the national media, and against that perennial Saints-hater, Mark Lawrenson. I also have no indication that she is a tedious head-in-the-sand happy clapper like those on this site, since to the best of my knowledge she doesnt post. She also is quite cute, has nice norks, and the sort of thighs that will squeeze every last sperm out of your body.

Well, I've just ordered the book, so I will give feedback on how many of the countries sound a bit tenuous. I am having trouble recall when the British invasion of Austria was too. EDIT forget that, its obviously the occupation of Carinthia and Styria after WW2.

Yes, I am sooooo looking forward to us signing the Mark2 versions of Bernard, Redknapp and Davenport.....
-
Dani King the Olympic medallist has stuck a finger up at Lawros prediction of 2-0 to WBA and gone for a 3-0 Saints win. Top girl.
-
Purely academic exercise anyway, Norm. We wont win.
-
Yep, I reckon its a lost cause. IMO we will be more adrift come the window opening than Kate Winslet and Leonardo Di Caprio, so no f**ker is going to come for anything but a quick buck/final pay day a la Olivier Bernard, Calum Davenport and Jamie Redknapp. You can call me all the names under the sun and anticipate all my future posts if that makes you feel better and more hard-core über fan...

made me laugh : http://www.telegraph.co.uk/history/9653497/British-have-invaded-nine-out-of-ten-countries-so-look-out-Luxembourg.html

Agree with all that.
-
Pointless thread. No decent player is going to join a team so clearly Championship-bound.
-
Good post. 100% agree

If we were relegated, having behind us from the summer a good transfer window that prepared the squad for the PL properly, a good pre-season of team, tactics and formation preparation, and basically done everything we can to avoid relegation, I could heartily live with it when it happens. Suffice to say, I am p*ssed off and angry that we have thrown away the PL place we have fought so hard for, because we have done NONE of those things.

Now the government are going after the SAS for trying to get to the bottom of the 6 Red-Cap murders in Iraq. F**king arseholes.

Short, succinct, spot-on.

This moment has been coming for weeks. That gap looks huge. Not surprised at some of the ridiculous dismissive and complacent comments on here, especially the "if we win 3 in a row...." comment. Very sad...
-
Plausible explanation, of course...
-
Yet another b*ll*ck dropped by the club. Considering Silvestre is still club-less, I am not convinced the club cares really about our defensive issues.
-
Highly likely, but I would prefer to hope that the last few weeks the squad has been drilling for this moment. If its business as usual against WBA, with the same issues, we are done for.
