  1. Really an utterly unpleasant country and people.
  2. Seems to me Disney have just let Pixar carry on as they were. I am assuming Disney are aware of the old chestnut "if it ain broke, dont fix it" and will do the same with Lucasfilm. Concerned about Lucas's role in the next trilogy though. The bloke cant leave alone, the worst example being Darth Vaders "Noooooooooooo!!" in the Blu-Ray version of ROTJ.
  3. Always enjoy your posts, derry. Might be a job going for you soon....
  4. U sure about that ?
  5. Not. A. Chance.
  6. Yep, very bored of reading variations on the "where we were 3 years ago", "promoted to the PL ahead of schedule", "look at our starting fixture list" themes. The last one is particularly crap, seeing as we gave the Manchesters a run for their money early on and are now being d*cked by 3 goals by Championship sides...
  7. There is no point discussing with you. You refuse to see anything but a form "blip".
  8. Those comments from NA after the Coventry game look prescient, and seem to confirm things were already going wrong last season. The way we finished the season bears this out.
  9. All the hard work from the second half undone last night by the squad selection.
  10. My sentiments exactly. The truth is, Lucas has always has the story lines for Episode VII to IX in the can, but hasnt had the motivation and energy to do them. Provided Disney doesnt tinker with the scripts, this should prove interesting. Never thought we would get to see them though. Lucas is still creative consultant - considering his reputation for control-freakery over the Star Wars canon, I see the potential for massive friction ahead. But yes, it will be interesting to see if a new production/direction team can breath new life into the franchise (though episodes I to III are nowhere near as bad as people make out)
  11. B*ll*cks, Turkish is spot-on. We were flat-track bullies last season, beating the crap, coming up massively short against most of the top 6 or 7, especially at the end of the season. the nature of the defeats against Blackpool away and Reading at home should have been paid a helluva lot more attention to. But no, the happy-clappies just whined about how good form always has blips
  12. I am still having massive problems coming to terms with last nights team and squad selection. We had just turned it around in the second half against Spurs, had something to build on, then we go and make 14 or 15 changes to the squad. I dont buy this "recovery" b*ll*cks - the way the first XI would be feeling this morning if they had got their sh*t together and won is a bigger shot-in-the-arm than a couple of more days rest before the WBA game. Adkins hasnt got a f**king clue what he is doing.
  13. Christ, this opinion is so myopic it defies belief.
  14. I can think of 30m reasons why it will be an umittaged disaster if we go down.
  15. Is there anything there of significance he hasnt said before ?
  16. Yes. I am sure the club has breached the Trades Description Act.
  17. Yep, not only are the first XI truly sh*te, but there is no-one waiting in the wings capable of stepping up to the plate.
  18. 3-0 ? I reckon those who travelled tonight should demand compensation.
  19. This. The manager is clueless. Adkins out.
  20. I quite agree. I feel it quite sad that some of you think that tonights performance can be seen in such isolation though. The first XI arent good enough, the club cupboard has been proven tonight to have less in it than Old Mother Hubbard's, and the manager doesnt know what he is doing.
  21. You're right. Its a strategic foul-up. The Carling cup is unimportant, but taking the opportunity to sort a few things out/improve a few things for the PL is critical.
  22. Yep, he's used up his nine lives, imo. Firmly in the camp that believes he should step down, after tonights effort. Really feel sorry for the 500 who made that journey.
