Whilst we all have our peckers up, including the team I reckon, there is still the minor issue that although we did well against Atkinson's....er....Ferguson's men, they are a footballing side, and there arent that many in this division. Just look at our last 2 league1 games. Do we really have the nous to get the results against teams of obstructive hod-carriers ??

Au contraire, I am an extremely proud Saints fan this morning. Ferguson had to put his team back to full strength and take us serious early, and they needed ExtraTimeAtkinson's help as 12th man as well. I dont understand why for the life of me that you dont get that its possible to be 100% Saints and NOT share your opinions. You have some serious growing up to do, I think. The only question marks that arose for me yesterday were Adkins was a bit off with his substitutions and the bench appears weak.

They hardly ran away with it in the last half hour. We came back at them after they equallised. It was only injury time plus a few minutes before where we struggled to get the ball from them. I agree with the original post. It never fails to shock and anger me about just how deep the aura of arrogance is surrounding Manchester United. I was really impressed with our quality of play AND fight for the first hour. After that everything went wayward for 15mins until we woke up again.

Extremely proud, touched with a bit of disappointment since we gave that game away. In the 60th minute we started playing backwards, FFS. And the substitutions were baffling. If we had kept going at them, it would have stayed 1-0 or been 2-0. The referee was a t*sser in the second half. He blew everything for them. Funny how 4mins injury time becomes exactly 4mins with him when Manyoo are leading. 28,433 attendance. Poor.
