If you are going to factor in issues from before the first whistle was blown back in August (and I am not convinced of it, the performances on the pitch are still what counts), then the real point of origin for f**king up this season's promotion prospects was Lowe taking us into administration 6 days after the cut-off date, meaning we started on -10, following on from his biggest f**k-up ever - reckoning that the FL would not dock the club points because of the financial state of the PLC

It is indeed an important factor, but there are others. Playing defensively when you must win is ridiculous, as is being sensitive to the condition of the pitch.

This is completely unfair and childish. One of the results to please me most this season was beating Leeds a few weeks back - hardly 5-0. I ask myself a simple question following every dire result - do I think from the info I have examined, that the team played to the best of its ability ? If they havent, I am p*ssed. Are you really trying to tell me that the team were at their best against Exeter, Brentford, WYCOMBE, Tranmere and Brighton ???

I dont recall saying that every game must be a thumping victory and a ritual humilliation for the opposition. But when I feel the team could have done better (as in last night) then, yes, I am bloody angry. Playing meekly and defensively when we have a goal to chase and not being able to play on certain pitches is a f**king disgrace.

I made it clear weeks ago that I felt the JPT was nothing to get excited about. I got nervous on the day, but in my opinion it hasnt moved the team on one jot. Last night proved that - another mid-week away cluster-f**k. Pearson did a superb job of stabilising a severely holed ship (caused by your Messiah Burley) from sinking into the next division with almost no support or money, only for the whole thing to be trashed the next season by the other of your Messiahs. You know that, but are too stubbor, self-opinionated or pig-ignorant to acknowledge it. However, you prefer to..what was it ?...yes..."cream your jeans" over two managers providing mediocre-cum-satisifactory records despite having complete f**king fortunes to spend in comparison to Pearson. If you want to have an objective comparison, Pearson did last season what Pardew is about to spectacularly fail to achieve.

If he were to maintain his record for this season throughout next season, would we be promoted ? In my opinion you should take the record from August because we are always crap in August and September. Which means adding 10 points onto this seasons record. So the answer is NO.
