Look, ultimately the only thing we can do is care about our own performance - win our games, and see if the other results allow the playoffs to be reached. In my opinion we FAILED to do that on Thursday night. Friday results have probably given us another chance, but how many are we going to squander ? It could be the last second chance we get.

None of those posts were about the performance, but were about the OP, as you well know. I didnt dismiss his comments out-off-hand, I just observed the cosy, lazy habit we seem to be getting into of blaming the referee for not getting the desired result (even when we have played sh*te). I dont see what is wrong with these posts. I wasnt saying we were sh*te of slagging off the performance of individuals either. Oh, and just in case a Moderator moseys on by this thread, are some people fair game for the sort of abuse I am getting on here, such as attacks on my family ?

I think the more pertinent question was what my expectations were following the superb run from October to December, and following the massive investment in the team in the January window. I expected the play-offs. Nothing more, nothing less.
