  1. I now believe Saga will be playing next game - the build-up has been too big and too concerted. Let's hope he delivers.
  2. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11197
  3. On the OS today. Let's all hope this is not pure vanilla, and that he actually gets a chance to put his words into action..
  4. We've got 23 points from 78, and you even want to discuss getting 37 from 60 with a even-further weakened team ? I feel ill too now. Thanks...
  5. JFP, I know we have our differences of opinion, but do you really believe anything that comes up on the OS anymore ?
  6. And the very fact that so much is spilling forth today, starting with that Echo article, suggests the end is very nigh and a huge amount of old scores are going to be settled in a very short space of time. I think Administration is almost going to come as a relief - at last SFC can finally start rebuilding as a football club and not a egoistic fifedom rapidly changing hands like some sort of microcosm of the Battle of Stalingrad.
  7. God, please let this be true.....
  8. I remember not that long ago anyone who mentioned the "A" word was shot down in flames, abused and laughed at. How tragic that it is now being discussed like a Universal Truth...:-(
  9. I am confident he wont, but if he does play, I'll just find another excuse to slag the Beetroot-Faced Bastard off. It's like Tube trains. If you miss one, you know another one will be along within 10mins.
  10. Who signed Rasiak ?
  11. Ouch. Now there's a thought. The dragging of the good name of the club through the gutter by the Three Amegos continues apace..
  12. No argument from me there.
  13. Wow. This is a BIG post. I would suggest that if we have another board change, sod the continuity. It is well time the club was rid of the services of Jones too.
  14. that is completely unfair. They were told by Wilde that investment was on the way. The correct analogy would be that they started the fire, believing that the fire engine was waiting for the call round the corner, then discovering it would take 10 hours to get there...
  15. This does seem like an abuse of power (because this must be a leak from the club approved by Lowe), and I would be suprised if it doesnt break the terms of the sort of NDA we know Lowe loves to impose on club employees (do they work in both directions ?), but break the law ? I doubt it somehow. It probably grazes on the edge of DPA legality, but there is probably something governing PLC exchange-listed companies reporting/disclosing expenditure that can be interpreted as permitting it.. For me what is interesting is finally there is some discussion about Dave Jones's role in all this - the one constant factor over the last 6-odd years of fook-ups. I questioned his activities on here back in September, and was attacked for it. And it does seem like Lowe may be scapegoating Wilde and Jones here to deflect attention from him. As has been rightly pointed out, Rasiak and BWP's wages were almost certainly agreed by Lowe...
  16. If Sundance isnt Lowe himself, he's very close to him.....
  17. Its just not going to happen, FFS.
  18. Not a chance. It would be one season of mid-table mediocrity as the club adjusted to the reduced finances, then another relegation battle the following season as the latest tranche of cost-cutting came home to roost.
  19. Oh, this article is just complete f**king bolllocks As if he is going to be picked. This is just Lowe-inspired OS spin. Does anybody REALLY still fall for this, especially after JP saying in September that there was no constraint on picking Skacel but the player himself now saying he was told to go or not play ???
  20. And how do you think Lowe perceives these articles ? The man who gets one of our few experienced players, only here 3 months, packed off to Brighton for dissent ? The man who forced one of better talented players to miss the beginning of the season because he wouldnt be forced out of the club on lesser pay ? The one who replaces a photograph in the boardroom of the most successful manager the club has ever had with one of a mouldy old steam train from a club which most of us only expected to be playing in early cup rounds, but soon has a chance to really twist the knife in our humilliation by being the latest team to beat us at home in the league ? You will see how Lowe regards this as the communication between club and Echo dries up..
  21. As is your embracing of his post.
  22. I was thinking the same way. All him replacing Lowe would achieve is eliminating most of the personal animosity. The succession of crap business decisions causing negative consequences to the football side of things would continue, since we all know that Lowe would still be pulling the strings.
