I do hope, however, that Crouchie is making small insignificant steps behind the scenes, like a game of chess, with the ultimate goal the downfall and removal of Lowe and the Quisling. Because I can imagine Lowe was doing the very same thing to him and Wilde when they were in charge. People in glass houses shouldnt throw stones....
-
Completely on this one, Ron. Too much water under the bridge there for that to work.
-
Where did I say I didnt beleive it ? Getting a bit confused, nicky old boy ??
-
How do you f**king know ? To my reckoning, Rudi has already helped us to 2 we would not have got otherwise.
-
Crouch trying to negotiate with Lowe is like Morgan Tsvangirai trying to negotiate with Robert Mugabe. Fine, so long as he accepts Lowe will be boss....... Bizarre, considering Crouch is a bigger shareholder than him (lowe is only 3rd biggest), that Lowe is boss. Suppose we have Guy "Nose-In-The-Tough" Askham and his cronies to thank for keeping him there...

Right, so now we know, we have some confirmation : Lowe picks the team LOL at all those who sneered at the accusation.

Crouch trying to negotiate with Lowe will be like Morgan Tsvangirai trying to negotiate with Robert Mugabe. Lowe will say something like "OK, you can come back on the board, so long as I am Chairman". Bizarre considering he owns less shares than either Crouch or Wilde.... Suppose we have Guy Waaanker Askham for keeping him in power, as usual.. Its a nice idea, but fails to take into account the egos involved, which wont be left at the door.

Dont see why Crouchie should do a damn thing after the way he has been treated.

What a truly daft post.

Couldnt resist a dig at Rudi though, eh ?

If Lowe sacks JP, or if JP quits, I am of the opinion Lowe is finished, all credibility shot. This is supposed to be a long-term strategy, we are told, yet he will show what a coward and useless leader he is by panicking. Also, at a time where we are loaning out, giving away and selling (not so much selling..) anything that can kick a ball properly or can run 100m, because we cannot afford the appearance fees and/or wages, we would have to pay off JPs contract. His chairmanship would be a complete f**king joke and he would have to go. The truce between Wilde and Lowe could even break. I reckon JP would disappear upstairs as the "DoF" upstairs in title only (with Lowe still doing the work) for a few months to take the heat off, with Wotte coming forwards to be first-team coach
-
No, he cannot. And I still reckon he will be gone as a scapegoat to Lowe by the start of the Plymouth or Charlton games... EDIT - Not completely gone, just moved "elsewhere" - Lowe cant afford appearance fees, so wont be able to afford to pay him off.
-
Those excuses for not paying appearance fees are running really thin, Jan......

A totally crap useless result. Does the club no good, just papers over the cracks. No pleasure in a Saints victory, no pleasure in seeing JP, Lowe and Wilde one step nearer the exit.
-
They've equallised now anyway.
-
We will lose now. Undeservedly, but the simple fact is we are too easy to pick off for a mature experienced team. Coventry didnt panic at going behind, and now they will win.
-
Oh, come off it. You are crediting Lowe for us leading ? Ridiculous. I think its much more likely the players have been absolutely stunned by public reaction, plus the fact the team looks more balanced than it has all season.
-
No way, we need to re-discover the goal-scoring touch pretty bloody urgently.

Cos they have someone in mind to bring in when Rudi is flogged. -
Inspirational.... Has JP been completely undermined ?
-
If JP were to quit because the situation is completely untenable, it would finish Lowe. So I can imagine some pretty significant carrot-dangling and arm-twisting is going on to prevent him from doing so. Whatever it is, I am of the opinion he is being lied to or having the piiss taken out of him. The situation is highly humilliating for JP, and I hope at some point he says to himself "enough", salvages his self-respsect, quits and ressurects his career back in Holland.
-
If NP has reached cult and/or legend status, you can only blame the utter crap that proceeded and followed him for that.

I also think JP is a top bloke. I think he cares, and his comments are refreshing and are not the banal straight-out-of-100 Greatest Football Platitudes that used to twitch subconsciously and slurringly out of Burleys mouth. But he's either not up to the job due to lack of experience or wrong mindset, or he simply didnt know what he was letting himself in for. I think we will get hammered over the next 5 games and he will be gone by the end of that period. Lowe's actions in all this are utterly incredible. He is almost exactly repeating the events of the relegation season (appointing an inexperienced yes man who is desperate to make it work but is unable to see it isnt to subsequently cut his losses and quit, finally succumbs as Lowe's scapegoat). And guess what ? By the time a change happens it will be too late again and we will be relegated.
