  1. Less than 13,000, possibly less than 12,000
  2. Again, the two are not mutually exclusive. If we get relegated there will be even less ST renewals and attendance next season. Administration will follow relegation like night follows day.
  3. Some people think he can pick the club up cheap a la Bates/Leeds with complete ownership and control, but to what end ? The business will just fail again through no customers. The only way this business will recover is under completely new ownership and management. That is the ONLY way the business will win back its customers. Now Lowe may be a power-hungry grudge-bearing egomaniac, but is he sufficiently insane to miss this little point ? I think not (though I am not 100% certain)..
  4. If Barclays, Norwich Union and Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs went along with that, they are bonkers. Because this club under Lowe and Wilde will stumble from administration to bankruptcy.
  5. I'm hoping he'll have a "Keegan/England/Last Wembley Match" moment, do the decent thing, recognise he aint Superman, fall on his sword, and humilliate Lowe and his failed strategy.
  6. Their Messiah gave NP time, didnt he ?
  7. Comment, SOG, nickh, saintwarwick ???
  8. The two are not mutually exclusive. Lowe clearly has no plan for our recovery, he simply has a plan for managing another relegation (if the fans go along with it and keep turning up as an act of blind faith)
  9. Yep. We are in administration in all but name and points-loss anyway. I wonder why Barclays havent figured out your statement for themselves ?
  10. Hmm. Eastleigh are probably a proud outfit. But if they were to poll the FA about changing their name to FC Southampton, I do wonder in the current climate surrounding SMS if this would give Saints fans a new Lowe-&-Wilde-free flag to rally around, and their attendances and fortunes would receive an almighty shot-in-the-arm. After all, they are an established team, not some knee-jerk opportunistic protest outfit like AFC Wimbledon or FC United
  11. The only way its going to happen is 1. Finally, someone with money comes forward and buys the club. OR (and more likely, considering the nature and track-record of the person involved) 2. Wilde loses his nerve again, falls out with Lowe, and tries to kiss-and-make-up with Crouch and the Corbett family.
  12. Wow, where have I heard that before ??????????
  13. Yep. Looking forward to the the special brand of humour belonging to nickh, NickG, saintwarwick and SadOldGit to bring a smile back to my face though....
  14. Agreed. Something had to give eventually.
  15. Wow, another half-a-game for JP to work out how to play ? Has he heard of watching the opposition on videos before the game ?
  16. People like you that claim this club's financial problems started when Wilde and Crouch chucked Lowe out really need some sort of counselling. Lowe oversaw relegation with some piiss-poor management decisions, and the result of relegation, as no doubt Um Pahars is sick of saying, was to half our revenue stream overnight. Sod all Sky TV money, reduced gates, etc. Why else were these fabled "50%" clauses that were so de-motivating, inserted in the players contracts ? They ensured we had zero chance of players like Phillips and Crouch giving us one season to bounce back. Not that Lowe would have turned down the money anyway, I'd swear he'd flog his own mother...
  17. Dont be silly.
  18. She's a luvvie that has regular digs at me.
  19. Above all, clueless........
  20. Sorry, I meant away, otherwise I wouldnt have made the reference to the games location at all.
  21. Half an hour gone in a home game, and less than 60 posts. Just goes to show how ambivalent we are becoming, and how we are finding other things to do with our Saturday afternoons.....
  22. And whilst this is happening, the club handle the falling attendances how exactly ?
  23. Sweet. Being pitied by Swansea fans. The person has a point though. The teams around us are pushing for and desire to be in the PL, however unrealisitc that may seem, whilst our board appears to be planning for life in League 1.
  24. He travelled with the team - late desicision. My answer was based on the assumption that the orginal post was correct.
  25. At least James has some support on his side. But cant see where the goals are going to come from, unless Lallana takes the game by the cruff of the neck and plays a blinder. Think I would have been tempted to put Robertson ahead of McG.
