Yep, but those of us who rate him, complained about the time it took to sign him and are complaining about his loan are accused of being the negative fickle ones....
-
No, my formulated opinion having considered the events at SFC since the FA Cup final. I would suggest those that describe it as "petty personal prejudices" have no sense of irony...

Kelvin Davis to be sold with Rasiak, Saga and Skacel

Yep, and you appear to be on a concerted attempt to wind-up everone who doesnt share your misplace unequivocal optimism for the new set up. This club still has massive problems on-field as well as off-field, and you need to realise it. -
Yep. Watch the panic set in when the goals dont come..
-
Why dont some people realise the two things go hand-in-hand ? He can achieve short-term solvency by flogging off our decent players, but when the poor results cause the early optimisim to evaporate and the attendances plummet, there will still be issues to answer for to the creditors.

Lowe wants maximum shop-front exposure for the youngsters just in case a couple shape up and become decent players... Still not convinced bringing back the good times at SFC is high priority for him....
-
DO we know the terms ? Is it "pay as you play" ? Really got my fingers crossed for him.

Reckon you need to read my original post again. I said "person" at the club. Oh, and you need to get of bed on the right side, it seems......... -
Whatever. I didnt think Saganowski would be one of those sold because he offers something different and I am not convinced by the great McG experiment. What's with the aggression ? Why cant you hack someone not agreeing with you ? Why should everyone embrace the new set-up without question ?

I'd like to know why Jan "the Man" if he is so positive as people claim from the Solent Forum and other contacts, cannot win round and motivate one or two of these players to deliver the goods we know they are capable of ? -

Erm, no, but he's an employee............ -
Wilde is a complete gimboid, so this is no surprise. He just wants to schmooze with the players on the team coach. As for Cowen taking some personal blame for f**king this club up, could someone please elaborate ? Humility and this board doesnt really seem right somehow.........

Will be inteteresting to see who will be the highest-paid person at the club at the end of the next financial year. My guess is it will be Lowe by a light-year..... -
Very depressing. I would have kept him and got rid of Rasiak or John, since they are similar. Especially as again we've got no money for him, and wonder how much of his wages we are still paying... What's even more depressing is the accusation further up that this is Lowe's decision and not Portvilet's.... I wonder if worse is to come. I suppose anybody who didnt play the first half against Stoke (except Killer) is up for grabs. I have a genuine issue with going into a fresh camapign with McGoldrick as first-choice forward. I dont think he's up to it, or will be gone at Xmas if he demonstrates that he is.... My mid-table optimism of yesterday has somewhat evaporated.......
-
I will drive back to England for the Blackpool game.
-
How do you suggest we force Skacel to take a pay cut to go to Ipswich ?
-
If we're paying him so much money, shouldnt we be using him ? At the same time he's in the shop window. I dont understand the sense of freezing him out completely.
-
The obvious candidate by a mile. Hope he has more luck avioding injury than the previous Club Captain. I am also curious to know if the Club Captain is now contracted to the club...
-
I voted mid-table. Either the Dutch Duo have what it takes, or they'll be gone by Xmas and an old hand brought in to recover the situation. Only mid-table because we dont have the players to get higher. I am sure the youngsters will give good account of themselves, but they simply aint equipped for the rough-and-tumble required for this level.

Lowe was well gone when Wilde gave Burley the family silver to put on black - he put it on red. He bought his old mates then played everyone out of position. His dropping of Rasiak for the second half of the play-off season is for me one of the greatest unanswered questions in the history of SFC.... Wilde gave Burley enough transfer funds to get us promoted in the play-off season. Burley blew it. Therefore, Burley is number #1 in a list of guilt about not winning promotion by a long, long, long way...Wilde and Lowe are only guilty of giving Burley too much respect and lattitude. Wilde is guilty of taking a big risk, and Lowe probably the opposite in our first CCC season. For me, not much blame can be ascribed to the likes of Crouch, Pearson, Dodd and Gorman - we werent even at the races last year thanks to the damage Burley did the previous season and over last summer. Number #2 for me is Leon Best - reasons obvious. Number #3 is Idiakez - ditto Number #4 is Baird for not playing to the whistle in the Derby home regular game. It went downhill from there. Number #5 is Pele for giving away that peno. Number #6 is Steve Howard - but the fukker was doing his job...

Cheers, matey.
