Trying to find the last time we scored three in three consecutive league games. Think it might be our last three games in League 1, against Brentford, Plymouth and Walsall.
-
Between the intense eye contact in press conferences and free flowing, goal scoring football, I think I’d quite like to shag him.
-
THB again!
-
Should have squared it… but I’ll forgive him.
-
Just the four goals in 2.25 games for a player that Still didn’t even play. F**k me, it’s Leicester’s turn for a red this year.
-
Probably because they’ve just gone 3-0 down after 35 minutes. Agree it’s a bit weird when we’re not even playing him though.
-
What a break!! 2-0
-
Kaboosh! Glad there’s no VAR tonight, looked half a yard off.
-
Got to keep targeting Aluko now.
-
2-0 down after four minutes.

To sum up Puel, he wasn’t sacked for finishing 8th, getting to a cup final, doing boring interviews or any other strawman argument. He was sacked because of the direction he was taking us and the downturn in results, particularly at home. Fonte didn’t play in Europe because he was 33 and never going to play three games in a week.
-
He slapped someone round the face, that’s against the rules.

First 10 mins at OT, Coleman goes off injured then Gueye flips his lid and gets a straight red.

I struggle to believe we couldn't get the majority of our combined £10.5m back if push came to shove. Even if they flop, they're hardly Osvaldo or Carrillo levels of wastage.

I don't have an issue with him being subbed off, especially as we have young Robinson waiting to come on. I'd rather have him looking fresh for 70 minutes every game than playing full nineties and losing that sharpness and edge that makes him so effective. Of course the last thing we want is a muscle injury that keeps him out for two months, like we've had with Charles, Ross and Jelly.

Not in the same half. Neither were the 6-0 wins at Wolves and Oldham, or 5-1 at Bristol Rovers.
-
Four out of five wins this season with Baz in goal. Every other keeper combined has won six league games since February 2022.
-
Yes, that does tend to happen when you’re as comfortable playing it around the back as we were yesterday.
-
As much as everyone loves to hate Bazunu, never in a million years do we win that 5-1 with McCarthy in goal.
-
Charlton have lost once in the league, at the Valley since December 3rd. How was that not a real test?

I've no idea why you're trying to argue this viewpoint. I'm not saying Tonda is definitely the right man for the job but I've no idea how you can't see a clear difference between the three games he's had so far and Still's team. Last three games - Won 3 - Scored 10 - Conceded 3 Still's last three games - Lost 3 - Scored 2 - Conceded 7 Even if you say Still's game plan against Swansea was absolutely perfect and credit him with a 4-0 win, it still leaves us about 17th in the table at the time he gets sacked. On that note, he wasn't sacked because of 20 minutes of booing at St Mary's, he was sacked because he was useless and our £60m team was sinking towards the relegation zone.

Leicester at home can only mean one thing; some muppet is going to get himself needlessly sent off. I think it's something like five out of the last seven times we've played this fixture. You'd have to expect the same team, with Downes possibly being preferred to Bragg.
-
We're playing far, far better than we did under Still, it's not just the finishing. We're playing the formation the way it should be played, back five when defending and three when attacking. Manning and Fellows are getting forward all the way to the by line and putting dangerous balls in. We're playing the ball around neatly at the back, then breaking quickly and with purpose into the spaces we create. Today was night and day from watching Still's teams, which looked like they just needed an extra defender because nobody knew what they were doing.

What planet are you on? Whichever it is, there isn’t enough oxygen.
