  1. Correct, he should never have been in charge of recruitment last summer. It was a ridiculous void of accountability and responsibility for a PL club to find themselves opening.
  2. That’s a nice rousing speech but what is it you actually suggest fans do?
  3. No, I think it shows that this shower of sh*te isn’t capable of anything resembling consistent, meaningful results under any management or playing strategy. Martin tried patience and passing, Martin tried going more direct, Rusk is playing for a 0-0 in every game. None of it works, quelle surprise.
  4. It’s not doing any heaving lifting at all, we’ve all been comfortably relegated with multiple fixtures still to play. Nobody is going into a final day relegation nail biter on 35 point. Leicester are officially the best of the three and they went through three Saints managers and two Popes without a goal at home. For context, we went down on 25 points two years ago and many people were going through the nauseating, "it’s hopeless we’ll be lucky not to drop straight through to League 1, " drama queen routine. Now all three teams are that bad but only Saints will be talked about as struggling next year.
  5. You can if you like, but I'd like to think most fans aren't that much of a drama queen. I can absolutely guarantee that nobody is saying the same about Ipswich and Leicester, who've both been almost as bad as use this season. In fact I'd wager most Saints fans would have them as odds on for the automatic promotion spots.
  6. All fairly comfortable in the end. Abbott the main difference but a decent game from Fuller too.
  7. I haven't the faintest clue why anybody ever thought this. Genuinely not a Scooby why anyone would think one of our youth team coaches, who's only ever managed at National League level, would get more of a tune out of this abysmal collection of players than Martin or Juric.
  8. His team has won six of the last eight PL titles and his ‘failure season’ could well end up with third in the table and a cup final. I don’t care how much money they’ve spent, United have proven how little that matters if you’re badly managed.
  9. It reminded me of The Naked Gun, when the umpires started squaring up to each other.
  10. I've never seen the doctors kicking off before.
  11. Smelly people who shower before they go to the gym in the morning and/or clean their teeth before breakfast. WTF kind of logic is that.
  12. I didn’t have ‘lead by 106’ on my betting slip at 4pm yesterday, so fair play. Fletcha already living dangerously with his first ball.
  13. Fernandes is the only one who has consistently put in performances which belong in the PL. Ramsdale has more good games than bad but has let in a few goals he really shouldn’t be too pleased about. KWP likewise, he’s an okay PL player but has been suspect for his fair share of goals conceded. Literally everyone else belongs in the Championship.
  14. The day ended better than it started, just about scraping that second BP and then a couple of early wickets. You do wonder why Orr can't get a game.
  15. That would depend on whether or not they copy City’s tactics of sending 417 crosses into the Northam car park for some Texan spiced curly fries.
  16. He probably should have tried adapting his style to score some goals at Everton, then he may not have been sacked.
  17. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cp92njv53k3o What kind of weird, nonsense argument is this? They're basically saying that delayed offside flags are dangerous because they allow players to play football for another eight seconds. If that passage of play was dangerous, then what if he'd been onside?
  18. Strangely, they’re still trying to sell this year’s shirts for about £45 each on the online store. They’re claiming they’re on sale but honestly, who’s paying that for kit we’re never going to see again in 10 days time?
  19. Forest will probably be lower mid table next season, so probably a fairly good level for where MF is right now. He’s a decent mid table player, he’s not going to be playing regularly for any of the top, CL chasing teams.
  20. You’ve just got to stand back and admire how we’ve managed to assemble the most abysmal team in our history and then halfway through the season somehow sign a player who’s made no impact on it whatsoever.
  21. They’ll be dancing in the streets of Southampton B tonight!
  22. My friends told me I could never win the World Innuendo Championship, but I knew I had it in me.
  23. The fees we've paid for their players have been reasonable so far and we wouldn't have signed them if the club didn't think so at the time.
  24. We'll sign Man City players if the price is right for both clubs and we think we've identified one who CDAJFU. So far Lavia and THB have been a success, Bazunu will likely be GK next season and Edozie has contributed intermittently, mostly from the bench. I doubt the club see the fees we've payed as 'OTT' and Saturday's game will have no bearing on anything.
