Anyway... Surely there's no backing out of this now, from either side. Iran have gone for the Armageddon option and basically retaliated against everyone in the region. UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, Israel, Bahrain, Iraq and Qatar have all copped a few today and I can't imagine they're too pleased about it, US bases or otherwise.

Brentford go full Leicester.

So we're bringing on words that you'd associate with Robin Hood. Interesting strategy.
-
What in the blue f**k are you talking about? You literally just asked me what my opinion would be if the Iranians struck a school, I told you, and now you're pretending we're talking about the original incident.
-
There was no waffle, my point was exactly as I described it. Iranian weapons I would bet my house on being less sophisticated and advanced than American and Israeli ones, so as such I’d say an incident like this is, if anything, more likely to happen. Yes I would give them the benefit of the doubt in saying that, given choice, 100% of weapons fired would hit an Israeli or American military target. A friend who works in the Middle East sent me a video a couple of hours ago and holy f**k, neither side is playing around.

When was the last time both full backs scored in a game for us?
-
Are you high? I thought I'd made it abundantly clear that I think a missile inadvertently hitting a civilian building is far more likely than it being deliberately targeted. I'm not saying the IDF are nice, I'm not saying they will be crying and holding vigils for the victims, I am saying that a girls school was not the intended target of that ordnance.
-
Why, in your mind, does this have to be so polarised and absolute? Why are the only two options the Israeli government being 'decent human beings' or they're deliberately blowing up schools of no military importance? Why are you so persistently dismissive of what is, on the balance of probability, the much, much more likely scenario?
-
I’m saying if you can kill your own soldiers accidentally then you can hit a civilian building accidentally. I don’t know why that’s contentious.
-
Well what are youy suggesting? That in the middle of a massive military operation against a very capable and dangerous Iranian military, one of Israel's commanders said, "yeah leave that Iranian radar site for now, make sure you hit the primary school first." Even the most advanced militaries are not adverse to hitting their own forces in friendly fire incidents. Hitting some civilian infrastructure in an operation this big is hardly surprising.
-
Targeted or hit? There's a difference.
-
All airspace in the area is currently closed, including Bahrain, Qatar and UAE.
-
Not that I particularly like any of this but the world would be well rid of that Iranian government and the IRG. If the US and Israel are going to do this, I hope they finish them off for good.

The quality of the voice acting on the Verisure adverts. I’m not expecting Oscar winners but it’s like listening to the dialogue in a primary school nativity.

Passport queues were awful at Zurich airport this week and Geneva about a month ago, for non-EU visitors.
-
If you look on the map, half the town is basically airport. It’s like Eastleigh knocking Inter out of the Champions League. Madness really.

He's certainly developing very well and has gone from a fringe player to one who wouldn't look out of place in the starting XI. A good alternative to Fellows if we want a more direct goal threat.
-
My only trip up there was Adkins' first win as Saints manager. 1-0, Lee barnard IIRC. I'd take that again, without Lee Barnard obviously.
-
I hope he washed his gloves after the match. I suppose it explains how Leo's goal slipped through his hands.
-
Sod’s Law, I went on Saturday but was working this evening. Oh well, I guess I can’t complain really.

Which US superstar should invest in Saints?
Lighthouse replied to Stripey McStripe Shirt's topic in The Saints
It’d need to be someone who could pass the FAs fit and proper persons test, like Jeffrey Dahmer or David Koresh. -
It’s always the ones you least suspect.
-
Nope, he very obviously said... None of the players I mentioned were kids, all have plenty of experience of first team football. As do players like Isak and Haaland, who would also be excluded from your definition of 'a good age'.
-
Apart from Ramsdale, Stewart, Manning, Downes, THB, Fellows, Scienza, Azaz and Welington, I'm struggling to think of anyone in the last couple of years.

You would have to suspect that Ross will get rested for (hopefully) Larin, depending on his fitness. Other than that, same team different results please Saints. Edwards to obviously have a blinder or a 'mare against us.
