  1. Nope. They’ve just gone to worse leagues.
  2. Fixed
  3. Correct.
  4. Age group football. If he was good enough, he'd be playing.
  5. Our club was relegated, they didn’t spend ten years in a Soviet, Siberian labour camp. They’re quite capable of ‘recovering’ to the point of playing Championship football.
  6. Shearer, RVN, Pires, Roy Keane, Del Piero, VVD…
  7. Plenty do, we'll just have to hope this injury isn't too bad. Sadly a hammy will probably see him out until Christmas or so.
  8. Apart from Downs, who was only £6m and we'd probably get most of that back if it came to it, who have we signed who's 'utter gash'?
  9. Coaching for me. It’s October and Still doesn’t seem to know either his best team or his best formation. He’ll say that he’s adaptable, not wedded to one specific system and that the door is open for every play to prove themself but I think it’s a bit of a mask for not really knowing what to do. Even the subs are baffling, taking off players who are doing well in a kind of scattergun approach to mixing things up. When Stewart was injured, putting Archer or Downs on, like for like, was the obvious approach in a game where the system was working but no; Adam Armstrong as a centre-forward again, where everyone knows he doesn’t work.
  10. Everyone loves not having VAR, so here we are.
  11. And yet Edozie, Aribo, Downes, THB and Smallbone can’t get into this team.
  12. Oh sausages. Time for the slutty leprechauns.
  13. Sorry… you think Fellows, Azaz, Roeslev and Jelert are crap players we shouldn’t have signed?
  14. Why on earth do people post this nonsense? Why would an underdog upsetting the order, disturbing the big teams and making the table closer and more interesting be in any way bad for their brand?
  15. When your bench has players like Downes, Roeslev, Fellows, Azaz, Archer, Jelert and THB you can have absolutely no complaints about our transfer window. We’ve got depth and quality all over the park, now it’s up to Will to find his best XI and start winning some games.

You’ve done a sleight of hand there, those are two different things. Anybody of any religion can have extreme anti-Christian views, that’s not the same thing as extremely not believing in God. I can say with almost absolute certainty that there is absolutely zero revealed truth in the Torah, for example. There’s not a person in the world who believes in the teachings of the Torah less than me. This doesn’t make me the world’s most extreme anti-Semite.

You can't take an extreme stance in the name of nothing, that doesn't make sense. You can be atheist and still hate Muslims, as you could if you were a Christian or a druid, but you can't be an extreme one by definition.

That's a bit of an eroneous statement though, nobody has ever committed an ill deed in the name of, or under the influence of atheism. That's why when people talk about Hitler and Stalin being atheists, accurate or not, it's a moot point. It's like saying Ted Bundy and Myra Hindley didn't believe in the Easter Bunny.

Almost all religions are stuck in the dark ages. The main differences are in how tenaciously various people practice them to what extent the ruling authority is able to remain secular in any given country.
  20. I thought that was weird too. Heard the whistle as clear as day on TV, before the ball had crossed the line, so the goal was never ever going to be given, even if the ref. changed his mind or consulted with the lino. At the very least you'd expect Peck to look around at the ref after, to confirm what he must have heard.
  21. Neither Armstrong nor Archer is ‘w*nk’ in the Championship.
  22. We aren't. We're relying on him, Armstrong, Archer and Downs.
  23. Back to back away wins would be a big statement. I'd still like to see a back four with Jelly and Mads as the full backs. Hopefully Stewart has at least an hour of this game in his legs.
  24. Abysmal is going there and being 3-0 down after 25 minutes. That was a bitty game between two underperforming teams clearly lacking confidence and cohesion. There's no such thing as an 'abysmal, away league win', especially if you support a team like Saints.
