Nobody who’s ever been to a party where all the girls are dressed as slutty witch, slutty cat, slutty nurse, slutty cheerleader, slutty demon or slutty slut would ever post that.
-
So his comic timing and delivery weren’t to everyone’s taste in an interview he did 18 months ago. I don’t personally find that upsetting to the point that he should have been ‘finished with the club’ because of it.

Good grief, get over yourself. Blackmore was winding him up in front of the crowd, who were singing, "sign him up!" He shouted ‘irons!’ Once into the mic and then laughed when everyone booed him. It was a light-hearted moment when a journalist put him on the spot on stage. Nothing more.

I’m not bothered about that so much, the last thing we want is Leo getting injured. It’s the fact that he brought on Stephens when Robinson was the very obvious like for like replacement. Even Downs would have been a better option, having already taken a striker off for Fellows.
-
He was. We need another Sharp/Lee/Barnard/Saganowski.
-
I’m all for dropping a CB and having another attacking player on the pitch but Matsuki should be third in the queue, behind Robinson and Fellows, for a starting place.

Is it? Our problem against Hull was defending against basic, route one football. We also failed to do the basics right against Bristol City. We’ve had multiple games where we’ve played well, taken the lead and then completely lost our way. Pompey was just dreadful overall, we didn’t miss many decent chances in that, and Wrexham was also laboured for 89 minutes. We’ve made awful subs and our formation has been so completely at odds with the players we’ve signed that two superb Championship AMs are sat on the bench in favour of a third CB. Missing chances is just one of our problems and even then, one of the worst examples was Jander. Signing prime Rickie Lambert wouldn’t have prevented his ‘mare.

A half decent manager should be able to get goals out of the forwards we have, even with Stewart's injury. Armstrong has consistently scored goals at this level for multiple seasons, Archer had 11 in half a season and Downs I'm sure is better than what we've got out of him so far. Put it this way, there's a team in the top six who took us to school bringing on Sinclair Armstrong, who scored three goals last year.
-
I'm not buying the whole striker problem either. If Russell Martin, who's is apparently worse than getting a paper cut off a nude photo of Margaret Thatcher, can come fourth with Che Adams, then we can do a lot better than 20th with Cameron Archer.
-
He was also hit by a pretty hefty injury problem in his time here. IIRC Niemi, Le Saux, Pahars, Killer and Oakley were out for a large part of his tenure.

I made it very clear that I don't want to carry on like this. I want us to improve, like we did under Pardew, Martin and Poch after indifferent starts. For me, this coming week is last chance territory.
-
I’ve never said anything other than that. I think seven points from our next three games is a very clear demand of a serious upturn in results. It’s very obvious that our team selections and substitutions are substandard and that we can’t carry on like this.
-
I wouldn’t have been sad to have seen him sacked on Monday but since we haven’t, there’re now three winnable games in a week, which he needs to win two of to keep his job IMO. This is nothing like the Martin situation, with the players we have now we should be doing much better, whereas last season we were where we belonged. Mid November is about as patient as I’m willing to be without seeing improved results, personally.
-
Hull? Our sixth league game and second defeat of the season. I’m glad you’re not running the club. For me there needs to be sustained improvement over the next three games or else he should be gone. Preston, QPR and Wednesday should be seven points, if not nine. Anything less and he’s not the man for the job.
-
Neither him nor Alcaraz seem to be particularly in Moyes plans, they're usually late subs if things aren't going well.
-
Perhaps they could commission a large mural of the ALDI in Millbrook at their training ground, to make him feel more at home.
-
That video is very good evidence of why we're sixth instead of fighting for the top two. We aren't sixth though, are we?
-
Hey, don't be so harsh. It's not their fault they can't afford a Russian.
-
I missed both but I am going Saturday. Thinking about it, if we do win then the last two league wins I’ve attended will be against Preston.
-
Yep, and all he needed was about 180 appearances over the course of six years to start looking decent.
-
It goes without saying that we’d be better with Ramsdale in the team, so the fact that he isn’t points to the fact that it wasn’t feasible to keep him. That’s probably a combination of having to pay Arsenal wages in the Championship and the likelihood that we had a gentleman’s agreement hat he could leave if we got relegated. In any case, it’s no excuse for our form at all. However you want to dress it up, Martin got promoted at the first attempt playing Bazunu and McCarthy. Unless you want to admit that he was an incomparable, god-like footballing genius, and I suspect that you don’t, Still should be able to match or better that achievement.
-
We would possibly have picked up a couple of points against Bristol City and Blackburn but that's not the root of our problems and I doubt we'd even be in the top half. Ramsdale's wages are enormous, we were never going to keep him in the Championship.
-
Incidentally, we beat Everton on November 2nd last year, so if we don’t win this one a 96th minute winner against Wrexham will be our only home win for a full, rolling year.
-
Personally, I’d go with: Bazunu Mads Wood THB Manning Downes Jander Armstrong Azaz Scienza Archer Of course, this won’t happen. It’ll be five at the back, we’ll start well, miss a bunch of chances, then score, immediately panic and concede, then make five subs from 60-75 mins, end up with Armstrong as the lone striker and a bunch of ball recyclers behind and lose to an 82nd minute defensive howler.
