  1. Powell, Davenport, Lancashire and Bennett were all worse. Also Trottman.
  2. I think you got ample warning from the title, "Cabbage Face Transfer News"
  3. I could never hate you Cabbage. Love and Light!
  4. It's all been split off from the transfer news thread as it is dividing opinion on there, to say the least.
  5. You can have your own transfer thread and everyone can make their own minds up.
  6. Just for the record, we have no reason to believe cabbage is ITK and most of his information has been widely rumoured on twitter in the past. Personally I could never has guessed Hoedt and Gabbi were leaving when they got frozen out of matchday squads in December. Still, if people choose to believe him then who am I to judge.
  7. If he does have a release clause, we wont have to add any incentives like that. If there isn't such a clause, I can't see Leeds selling him for any money.
  8. It's a no for me. 33 is too old, there are many younger, better players out there with more to prove. It's not as if we need experience either. Bertrand, Yoshida, JWP, Cedric, Romeu, Long and Austin must all have well over 100 Premier League apps each.
  9. Ben Reeves was 21 when we let him go and he has spent his whole career in League 1 since then. I think 21/22 is make or break territory at this level. Obviously the youth team coaches see him far more than any of us and will ultimately be the ones who decide his fate but when the only thing on your CV is 'sent back early by bottom of the SPL St Mirren' it doesn't look too promising.
  10. I cannot see him getting game time ahead of Romeu, Hoj and Lemina and if I were him I wouldn't be sitting around waiting for those rare moments when two of them are injured.
  11. Is Sims injured? I'm surprised he didn't get on the bench yesterday, ahead of Stattery, given that Ralph has taken a look at a few of our younger players. I agree with the OP, I don't think any of those names look likely to become Premier League players and for their own good they need to move on.
  12. Their easiest fixtures are home games against Cardiff, Newcastle and Brighton. Even *big if* they won all three, that puts them level with us now. Aside from that, their most winnable games are Everton (h) and Palace (a) which I'd say are 50:50 at best for Fulham. I can't make a case for them staying up, I just can't. Edit: Fulham's points per game, averaged out over the season, would have them finishing on 23.
  13. F**king brilliant, caps off a pretty much perfect set of results for us. Spurs were sh*te and Fulham couldn't take advantage or even hang on to a draw. I think it's just Cardiff to keep an eye on now.
  14. Not sure what Sanchez did their to deserve a booking. Think it was more for the reaction of the other players.
  15. I think he is just the least suited player we have to Ralph’s philosophy. I’m no fan of Long or Gallagher, not by a long way, but they can at least run and press when called upon. Despite what Ralph may have said in the media, Austin is not a good substitute. So many time Hughes sent him on and we lost all intensity and dynamicism as a team.
  16. First of 4 consecutive 6-pointers for us and for once we have a decent break leading up to it. Hoping to have Bertrand and Lemina back and a new signing or two. I'd probably go with the same team as the Everton game but with Bertrand in at LB. It's also very tempting to put Lemina in for Stephens.
  17. Teams seem to be tripping over themselves not to finish 7th this year. Whenever a team like Everton, Bournemouth or Leicester puts a run together and starts looking decent, they mysteriously become sh*t. Watford are there currently with a GD of 0.
  18. Wages probably. Getting rid of those two and Carrillo allowed us to bring in Moi, Ings and Armstrong. Boufal contributed pretty much nothing so was no loss and Tadic needed a fresh start. Neither would have improved our fortunes under Hughes had they stayed. If Moi wasn't so bad, we wouldn't be having this discussion.
  19. Definitely looked very good in the last two games but I wont get too carried away just yet. Both Everton and Derby were pretty poor sides and we were at home. Hopefully he can push on for the rest of the season and finally become the player we all want him to be.
  20. Aged 20 years in stoppage time
  21. When they score it's going to feel so much worse than when it was 1-0.
  22. I’d say we were pretty lucky to even get that chance, with the rebound in the build up and then the tackle. Ings never looked like scoring it alone.
  23. Hoj has been excellent so far.
  24. Here please. COYR etc.
  25. True, although I doubt they've done it 4 times this season.
