  1. Nico Kranjcar maybe. Always thought he was the Skates best player and is hardly a Spuds regular. Still only 27 and only cost them £2.5m, so I doubt they would demand a high transfer fee.
  2. A delicate subject. I think corporal punishment is more suitable for younger children as they are less reasonable and wont respond to a reasoned explanation as much. When I was little I got a whack if I miss behaved, Grandma even used to whack me with a wooden spoon. It taught me from a young age to respect my elders and not act like a little w*nker. I've never really misbehaved since then. I think if kids were subjected to this kind of discipline from a young age, it wouldn't be nescessary for corporal punishment into their teens.
  3. In a bit of an inconventient place to take a photo right now, but if you can picture those little sausages you get in Heinze spaghetti, you're in the ball park.
  4. Dodd was seldom in a possition to shoot. Morgan is but rarely has a go.
  5. Think Barnard used to take them for Saaaafend. Him, Sharp or Fox would get my vote. Not Morgan though, I don't trust a player who takes 3 shots every season to score a penalty.
  6. Yes, but it's tiny. Nowhere near big enough to scare off a burgular, especially if it's dark.
  7. I keep an ENORMOUS strap on dildo for such circumstances. If anyone breaks in I just stick it on, go down stairs and say, "good evening. I've been expecting you." The bloke would run a mile.
  8. Saw him playing in the Europa League in November. A long way past his best on that showing, I really wouldn't bother. I'd rather stick with Fonte and Jos and his wage appetite will be too large to justify being a 'squad' player.
  9. Lambert Caroll has a sh*t pony tail. Usless, violent, homeless, Ibrahimovic wannabe.
  10. I'd die much happier going to 91 league grounds and not going to Wigan personally.
  11. Insert groin strain/ magic spray joke.
  12. Step up and scored goals when we needed them most in the past. Got the first ever goal under Adkins up at Wednesday, first time we'd scored in about a month. Has scored numerous last minute winners, equalisers and that goal against MK Dons. I have faith that he can do the job given time, unlike Guly who can run the show one game and vanish the next.
  13. Is it really that difficult to not act like a mong at a football match? I just don't see the appeal in shaking a metal fence.
  14. I was searching for a new torch last night and in my boredom was trying to find the most poweful torch on the market. The two most powerful, but still practical, I could find were an 85W torch that can light stuff up 1km away and another that can cook marshmallows at short range. It struck me that only a man can appreciate stuff like that, like surround sound speakers and pen knives. Anyone own any other decent man toys and gadgets?
  15. Why? He has the whole of April, May, June, July and half of August before the new season starts. Bad news though, he will be missed. Having said that I have faith that Sharp and Barnard can step up to the mark.
  16. Which part of Brizzle are you in? It's my day off, I may wander up there and have it out with them.
  17. I whole heartedly agree. However I don't think grief should be compulsory as alpine is suggesting.
  18. DD, Kraken this has just turned into good old fasioned alpine trolling. Having a go at people he's never met because they aren't grieving for people they've never met at an unrelated football game he wont even be attending. I'd leave now whilst you still have your sanity.
  19. Yeah I wish. Haven't been to Spa since 2010. Best weekend I've ever had with my clothes on.
  20. What you have there is an owl, not a teenager. Hope this helps.
  21. It does. Then again so does Hedge End Primary School, Airport Parkway Train Station and the Greggs on the High Street. All in Southampton and very important to it's inhabitants but I doubt any of those places will be having a minutes silence. P.S. Belgian?
  22. No because: - It has nothing to do with the football club. Yes a lot of the victims were from Southampton, but the Titanic had naff all to do with football. - If you want to remember the victims, do it. Go to one of the many memorials around the world and lay some flowers, stand in silence or whatever. Nobody is stopping you. - We're not remembering it, we're remembering the 100 year anniversary of it. It's just a nice convenient round number, why not remember the 87th anniversary? - I've already had to sit through 3 seperate minutes silences just for Gary Speed. West Ham had a minutes applause for Muamba and he wasn't even dead. It's getting silly, I have to draw the line somewhere.
  23. Oh Jesus, I was wondering how long it would be before someone came out with that line. Nobody has a must play when fit contract, even Wayne Rooney or Robin Van Persie. Why would you sign an unknown player from an obscure Italian team and give him a contract whereby he must play every game? That would be a complete kick in the nads for the rest of the squad who all have to fight for their spot in the side. It would also mean Guly didn't have to go the extra mile in training and could turn up for a game not caring how crap he was because he knew his place was secure. 'Must play when fit' contracts are a myth, especially for players as unremarkable as Guly. Nigel is picking him because he rates him, simple as. It's like his very own Jermaine Wright, except nowhere near as bad.
  24. If we are promoted and keep Connolly I will quit and go watch womens golf instead. I'm not convinced Guly is Prem class either. Barnard and DC really haven't had a decent run out when fit to make a judgement yet. Barnard was excellent before he was injured, Sharp certainly did it for Donny at this level. Both deserve more time IMO.
