Forte scoring again.

Millwall 1-0 Rompey. Get in!

Nugent in a lot of pain according to SSN.

A lot of results today which could be almost as important as our trip to Elland Road. Barnsley vs. Forest Brum vs. Derby Palace vs. Posh Donny vs. Brighton Ipswich vs. Bristol Foxes vs. Coventry Millwall vs. Reading Pompey vs. Boro Watford vs. Burnley The teams I want to win are in bold. Millwall - Reading is the biggest one in there IMO. It has the added bonus of moving Millwall further clear of the drop zone should they win. Can't decide on Pompey's match. I want both teams to lose really, although I don't see Boro as that serious a challenge for the autos.

Don't suppose there's any chance of liquidating Leicester and Bristol City too? Would be handy.

We could be safe from relegation by the end of the weeekend

Good to hear, I will sleep better tonight. I suppose by the same yard stick Pompey wont be able to make the automatic promotion slots. Looks like they will have to stake their survival on winning the playoffs. Good luck to them. -
What our owners get up to when not watching Super Saints

Brompey sticks in my mind too, but I'm sure Davis was saving them for fun a few seasons ago. He saved one away at Brentford last season, which was more recent than the Brighton game.
-
I hope Boro and Pompey both lose this game.
-
Neither did Vignal or Pahars.

Lallana has been excellent, but inconsisent since his injury just before our trip to Derby. Lambert, Hooiveld and Cork have all been consistently excellent, hence they are my top 3. Lambert wins as he is absolutely vital to our success, at least as far as being the best team in the league goes. Hooiveld 2nd, Cork 3rd with the lack of goals being his only disappointment. Honourable mentions also to Lallana, Chaplow and Richardson. Guly has been good, so have Fonte, Fox, Davis, Morgan, Hammond and De Ridder. Strength in depth indeed.
-
Only 3 strikers in the England squad, none of them have scored for the NT. Sturridge, Welbeck and Campbell. The latter has 2 goals in 6 appearances this season, surely with such disappointing options up front someone like Lambert would have been worth a shot.
-
I'd go with the same team as Watford but with Sharp in for Lee and then De Ridder and Barnard on the bench instead of DC and Lee. Possibly Frazer in from Butters if he is fit.

He's not, hence he isn't worth £35m. Liverpool thought he was the man to lead the line for a Premier League/Champs League push hence they spent all that money.

I thought Skacel and Phillips did alright for us, it's just that a fair sized chunk of the fan base had ridiculous expectations of them. Kanchelskis was a bit of a gamble by Strachan, clearly well past his best but worth a try. Hajto was signed by Redknapp as cover at CB, but ended up mostly at RB. Had a decent crossfield pass on him (usually to Kosowski) but looked out of possition most of the time. He came back playing CB for Derby a few weeks after leaving and did alright, think that was on Ostlund's debut.

The value of players goes up exponentially with the leagues. Top League 2 striker (eg. Le Fondre) - £500k Top League 1 striker (eg. Lambert) - £1m Top Championship striker (rumoured bids for J Rod, Maynard etc.) - £5m Top Premier League striker - £20m and upwards Top Champs League striker - £35m, £50m, £80m etc. You can't really make comparisons for prices and different leagues.
-
Well, the penalties are looking a bit 'English' so far.
-
Good heavens! Have to say this game is a fantastic advert for football.
-
I'd say a Cardiff win if history is anything to go by. Brum collapsed after winning last years competition and Cardiff have been inconsistent at best since reaching the final. Plus it's a chance to laugh at some Scousers, although the candle lit vigils might be a bit annoying after.
-
Basiclly if every fan at FP today chucked in £2,277 they would be absolutely fine. Having said that some of the fans were kids and might not have enough pocket money for that. Oh, and that is dependant on 3,000 Leeds fans chucking in a couple of grand each aswell.
-
3 ferkin brilliant results their with Saints, Brum and Wham. Get in.

Just popped out for a lucky mid-game bobsled run. I bet nobody has ever said that in the history of Saints Web! :-D

Greetings from the Alps. Hopefully this place doesn't have the same effect on me as it has on certain other Saints fans. COYR!!!!
