  1. Ben Reeves has got a double against Wigan.
  2. Looking at this it seems there is serious flooding predicted....St Mary's, central station amongst other places. http://maps.environment-agency.gov.uk/wiyby/mapFromCMSCodes?topic=fwa&lang=_e&codes=065WAC151&layerGroup=1#x=441237&y=111280&lg=1,&scale=8 Will Saturday's game be on?
  3. If you don't mind the commentary being in Dutch, this is a great quality stream and safe. http://www.streamoftheday.com/player.php?stream=1&type=veetle
  4. Only on SaintsWeb could there be a 130 post argument (so far) about whether a championship club would fill out a new stadium or not....
  5. I suppose Lambert is in the England squad due to loyalty, and nothing to do with the qualities he brings to a team?
  6. Or looking at it a different way, 2 saints players out of 2 suggested.
  7. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25291341
  8. The font on knowledge that is Fantasy Football has him down as being suspended...
  9. He's been at the club for 7 years ffs, it's hard to take a post seriously when you can't even get our club captain's name right - it's Davis not Davies..........
  10. Strength: He isn't Forecast Weakness: Looks scared, he's a big lad and needs to be a lot more dominant in his area, a braver and more determined Gazzaniga would be a significantly better keeper imo
  11. Anyone else going to this? I've never been to Wembley before, and am sitting somewhere up in the clouds, but would absolutely love to see our boys play well and show Roy they deserve to stay there! Any good (read: cheap) pubs nearby?
  12. According to the BBC we are not one of the clubs supporting "Football v Homophobia". Should we be? Surprised by the number of clubs that aren't tbh, but then again it could be a PR stunt that could go either way. Or is it a pointless campaign that won't actually help anything? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24104250
  13. Sounds even better if you say 75 minutes, 2 goals, 1 assist!!!
  14. Cheers Deano, good honest no frills pro. Hope all goes well at Leicester!
  15. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23893239 Kaka CDAJFU?
  16. Tickets for the game are priced at £10 for adults, £7 for 17-21s and £5 for U16s and OAPs. You can also purchase a family ticket of two adults and two U16s for just £20*. http://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/article/royals-to-host-england-u21s-946296.aspx
  17. The game against Moldova is at the Madjeski, tempted to pop along, pretty decent prices for a competitive game!
  18. Interesting snippets from BBC Sportsday: Son Heung-Min's agent claims a host of Premier League clubs were interested in signing the South Korea striker, 20, before he completed a £8.49m move from Hamburg to Bayer Leverkusen. Thies Bliemeister told German paper Bild: "Liverpool, Tottenham, Fulham, Southampton and Cardiff were interested in concrete terms. At the beginning and Manchester City. Chelsea and Manchester United have observed Son." and Lorient's former Arsenal striker Jeremie Aliadiere, 30, is wanted by Everton, Swansea, West Ham, Sunderland and Southampton, as well as Lyon and Marseille, L'Equipe is reporting. So we're definitely on the look out for a striker, which is good - would have been delighted with Heung-Min, not so much Aliadiere...
  19. Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse says he will not be happy with another year among the substitutes after his debut Premier League season. Ward-Prowse started Saints' first match of the campaign against Manchester City but began just three more league games. In total the teenager made 11 league substitute appearances and he is desperate to prove himself next season. "I am only 18 but I'm not content sitting on the bench," Ward-Prowse tells BBC Radio Solent. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/22851967 (11.59) So will he look to go out on loan next season, or played in a more advanced position and perhaps move up the pecking order ahead of Davis? Can't see him dislodging Cork or Morgan....
  20. http://www.cl1theroeadvertiser.co.uk/sport/football/local-football/****heroe-pupil-earns-southampton-contract-1-5739313 replace the 1 in Cl1t with i also why is **** blocked by the swear filter....lol...bit extreme
  21. This doesn't tie up for me....he signed for Madrid when he was 7 in 2007 according to the article, and so should be 13/14 now, not 16. Also this article: http://www.****heroeadvertiser.co.uk/sport/football/local-football/****heroe-pupil-earns-southampton-contract-1-5739313 mentions being from the Blackburn youth academy, but doesn't mention Madrid which is a bit odd... Sure it's the same player?
  22. With regards to (iii), I agree, and a player in the Yaya Toure mould (i.e strong, powerful and direct) would be perfect.
  23. Getting Boruc to sign a new contract has to be the first priority, hopefully it is being worked on now!
