Lovely goal by hojberg.
Pretty Atrocious game on the whole that we found a way to draw.
Long laughably bad. Falling over, handling the ball, clearing it when through. If an academy player played that badly we’d be told they should be loaned to league one.
Hardly, it’s the double whammy of being loan signings and ones that were signed extremely late in the window. Sims has already made an impact twice, so you’d expect him to get a start soon at reading.
Article didn’t even mention the movement away from youth progression which I expected to be a point when I read the headline.
Thought on the whole it was rather poorly written.
Who are the identical strikers it mentions?
Prefer he didn’t miss those but I’m happy that he’s at least willing to come for crosses. Coming & missing is better than just sitting imo. Did well getting a punch on one later too. Made some key good saves too.
I agree Austin up top by himself is stupidity.
However that doesn’t mean someone who would miss an open goal from a yard out is better alongside Ings.
For some reason Hughes decided to load the bench with midfielders today rather than include 2 better strikers he had at his disposal.
