Absolutely pathetic set up from Selles. We're trying to play counter attack at home against one of the other worst teams in the league when we need a win(a darw is zero use)and bournemouth would be contnet with a point. JWP is being utterly negative today, hanging in front of back 4 and passing backwards as soon as he gets the ball (not sure if that is him playing to the managers orders or not) Once again the complete lack of tempo from us is staggering. We're rolling the ball alon backwards without a care as if we were in mid table obscurity.
-
Are we now switching to 3 at the back
-
I get bournemouth trying to play counterattack. I just don't get how the idiot Selles can justify us doing that at home in a game we need to win.
-
We're really missing the lack of ABK's pace or even the missing man Salisu.
-
Maybe the playbook says don't attack an opposition's weakness
-
Not surprisingly given the abject lineup we look to have no attacking threat
-
is ABK injured? When i first saw DCC was playing i assumed it was for Bednarek
-
You'd also think the miserable conditions might suit playing a target man too.
-
Fingers crossed sulemana can have impact off the bench that he had as a supersub in the Spurs game.
-
So Bournemouth are poor aerially apparently so we threaten them with Adam armstrong glad to see dcc starting, hopefully he can have an impact at set pieces onachu not even on the bench for a game that seems most suited to him of the remaining ones.
-
Not sure I see the sense in throwing Che straight back in from the start given he’s been injured. Start onachu and then use Che from the bench.
-
The ideal draw happened. Wish i was convinced Saints could take advantage.
-
I don't really see this idea that Leicester have an easier run in than Leeds.
-
I'm sure our management team will look at the fact that DCC is the player that has scored from corners for us and that we've got a 6-7 striker and go no lets not try and exploit Bournemouth's weakness. Let's instead pass the ball sideways slowly.

Bazanu KWP DCC ABK Perraud Alcaraz Lavia JWP Walcott Onachu Djenepo

Yesterday I don’t think there was any blame for the goals on him. outside of those moments I thought the same faults were there that have plagued him all season.
-
It wasn’t really. taking off a booked attacking midfielder and keeping on a more defensive one. the move worked, making them struggle to break us down. A calculated gamble against top of the league.
-
Yeah, Diallo got owned for the 2nd. Not sure if it was Diallo but someone went missing for third becuase their mid was unmarked from a throw in.
-
That was ABK wasn't it.
-
Honestly i'd put much more of the blame on the freedom of the city they were given from the throw in.
-
Thought JWP was immense today defensively.
-
Well that was a fun match. Never expected anything. We didn't get enough really. A point does very little for us, really just helps horrible city win the title. I have idly wondered in the past whether DCC might be more of a set piece threat than our other CB's I thought Diallo was really poor and you wonder about if we kept Lavia on would we have conceded 2. The HT Lyanco move was brave, as it was a move that would have killed us if they scored one early. As it was Lyanco was just what we needed in this sort of game.
-
Alcaraz looks so good. Probably too good if we are relegated.
-
Had that late cross from inside the box. Until then he'd seemed anonymous even defensively. You'd hope sulemana would be on at ht

There’s an element of truth to that, given we’re an awful bottom of the table club. however, parachuting in players out of nowhere who haven’t even impressed in b team or off the bench is deserving of slating.
