Surely they could have given Edozie a bit longer given how well he was playing
-
Peretz got treatment on his hand on Tuesday, so that maybe why he is being protected

EFL to vote on extending the Championship playoffs
Baird of the land replied to badgerx16's topic in The Saints
I like that the playoffs keep the division alive longer. If they weren't there at all there'd be an even bigger mass of teams with nothing to play for. I just think this takes a good thing too far. -
Curious as to what the club’s stance is going to be in regards extending him. obviously it’s a delicate balance given the injury history. Equally if he stays fit and continues chipping in you risk someone swooping in and we’ll be left with egg on our face.

Really looking forward to tonight’s show

Curious how it affects the emergency loan rule if peretz and long get injured.

Basically it’s the American football Wildcard round. -
Really bizarre.take it that the mccarthy out for 2 weeks is misinformation and he is really out longer.

At the very least Given Stephens age i'd expect him to drop out for Quarshie Given Stewart was only meant to play 20 minutes, i'd assume he won't start. An opportunity to work out Larin Given the previous management of Scienza's minutes i'd expect him to be out too. An opportunity to work out edozie Given our depth at Cm i'd expect changes there. (Charles/Bragg) It would be nice to see someone like Sesay, who hasn't had an opportunity, to be on the bench.

2.22, (the guy quitting as a Leicester Fan) was my highlight
-
Since i first watched him breakthrough for N.Ireland i thought he was a box to box midfielder. Adding goals would complete the package, though ideally saints will lock him down with a big contract before then.
-
Slight difference between overriding medical advice when 0-0 and when 0-3 perhaps. I'd guess medical staff advised that Larin wasn't fit enough for more than 25 minutes too.

Yeah fair play to Spors(changing composition of the dressing room) and Tonda for instilling a new mentality. A very short time ago at 0-3 our team would have turtled up, rather than fought back. After the Hull game i was very concerned that he hadn't spotted the need to change formation but since then probably the only tactical quibble is the archer pick(which is excusable given the fitness of the other 2 strikers). I do wonder if getting the extra staff appointed to support him has helped. I still think Saints should have appointed a real manager in the summer but there were a real lack of options by the time they pulled the trigger on that bad hire, so going with Tonda wasn't inexcusable.

Think it was Alfie house that said they had a very quiet dressing room. The incomings in terms of character seem to have helped.
-
Doing what any decent manager would do in sticking up for his players. He’ll likely need archer between now and end of the season.
-
Loved the bree move, they take off their winger for a cb. Ok we’ll counteract and match you.
-
He made excellent adjustments, so he was very involved. while the archer thing backfired, he could hardly have predicted fellows and jander would go rogue and play for the opposition.

Great character by the team in the 2nd half. Fantastic to see, given in times the team has crumbled. charles is such a quality player. I thought he’d won it with the ball to azaz and then he won it with a beaut of a finish after doing great work in the build up too
-
The one positive is that Charles will hopefully be restored to the starting lineup after jander’s performance for Leicester.
-
How is jander still on the pitch. Might as well be playing for leicester
-
Midfield is truly pathetic today. Was that jander or downes just handing possession over
-
2 fantastic assists by saints (jander and fellows).
-
Suicidal play
-
What was jander doing
