  1. was just thinking the same... makes no difference
  2. semantics. Yes, the containers are outside, but they're containers none the less... same as what was proposed here i guess? Still, shame nothing seems to have come of it.
  3. Would it be possible to keep any bickering / point scoring to a thread of its own, ideally on TMS, as it's pretty tiresome to read through pages of b0llocks
  4. Yeah, some of the houses look great and an excellent way to recycle. I liked the sound of the shopping mall idea, about time Southampton had some 'different' shops rather than the usual highstreet ones... shame it appears not to have taken off
  5. Did this ever happen?? If so, they need a new Marketing person.... not heard anything about them http://www.movehut.co.uk/news/southampton-warehouse-to-be-transformed-into-shipping-container-shopping-centre-21340/ http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/11174859.Shipping_containers_stored_in_warehouse_to_be_turned_into_shopping_mall/
  6. I thought the first half was very encouraging from England. We pressed high up the pitch, the 2 front men split wide to stop their full backs pushing on, the midfield did well, and the defence looked solid. we were unlucky not to go in 1 or 2 up. They only really had 1 shot of note, and Hart saved well with his legs. The second half, they pressed on, as you'd expect and we sat back a little more... giving us some space in behind to exploit with pace. The plan (if indeed it was our plan) played out expertly. Anyone who is saying that this was a poor performance or not an improvement on recent matches, needs their eyes tested. I still cant for the life of me work out what Wilshere adds to the team, though. When Milner came on he (and we) were much more solid in the middle of the park. He (Wilshere) looked like a lost little boy in the middle of the pitch and seemed surprised when the ball was passed to him.
  7. When Sepp was about to announce this idea, bet he thought "this will be a universally good idea, and everyone will love it... and me" Well Sepp me old mucker - look at the above 32 posts and see how divisive the idea is

Mourinho says that was too much for his club." http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-signing-luke-shaw-would-3913597 "Blues' boss feared a dressing room revolt if he had agreed to pay Man United's teenage new boy the £120,000 a week that was being demanded" http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jul/26/jose-mourinho-chelsea-luke-shaw-wages "with a reported weekly wage of £130,000 a week" http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/jose-mourinho-says-paying-luke-shaws-manchester-united-wages-would-have-killed-chelsea-morale-backpages/ "and £100,000 per week wages" http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/manchester-united-preseason-tour-luke-shaw-is-not-fit-enough-to-do-what-i-want-reveals-louis-van-gaal-9634407.html "because of his £100,000-a-week wage demands" So the average of these 6 reports is £113,333/week
