Does the fact that we (or any club for that matter) bid for a player mean that we are 95% confident that should the bid be accepted the player will join?

Didn't see the game. how was schneiderlin, and what was the fans reaction?

In all seriousness, that's not a bad idea... not the split screen malarkey... but a branded sat nav with all 92 Football League clubs pre-programmed in to the memory -

On a completely different subject, did you see that 3 Championship clubs are showing all their away games at the club's via a FL Fibre link that's being installed. -
the allegation IS against young boy(s)....

Cork is todays Jim Magilton

thats as maybe. What is so hard to understand (not specifically you) - it is a 2-way decision... just because he wants to stay, doesnt mean that the club want him to.
-
Answers above... would you REALLY want players here who dont want to play for us? I wouldn't.
-
we have sold 5 first team players, and bought in 5 replacements. By comparison: Newcastle have bought in 9 players Arsenal - 4 Villa - 6 Burnley - 6 Chelsea - 5 (14 out) Palace - 3 (8 out) Liverpool 7 (9 out) I could go on, but you get the picture.... we're no different that every other team... were going through a transition and some players will be let go http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/news/2014-15/summer-transfer-window-2014.html

maybe... it's not always a positive thing changing so many players at once (look at spurs last season) - but there is a reason for it all, im sure. Perhaps Cork doesnt fit in the style of the team going forward. Perhaps he isn't as effective as others in training. Perhaps he doesnt want to be here, and has rejected a contract offer (but stayed private). who knows. all that we know, as it's starting to become obvious, is that he's surplus to requirements here
-
A football team is an ever evolving beast. Old players leave, new players come in... those new players one day become surplus to requirements (by the manager, not necessarily the fans - but it is the manager who counts) and new players come in.

Ok. ...it costs 5usd per month, right?

Does kind of defeat the object: @Bridgey1982 fully understand. The concept of qjacker is all about pre order and therefore not reliant on in stadia connectivity. ^ was a tweet sent by qjacker. I like the concept, but think the network infrastructure needs work inside SMS for this to be fully useful

I have to admit that I have no idea what depression is like, and (I don't think) anyone close to me suffers/suffered from it - so my 'selfish' comment was a complete one sided view, and apologise if I offended anyone. I think my view comes from a kid when someone committed suicide by running in front of my dad's bus, and ever since then I've had that (right/wrong) viewpoint that the person is almost taking the easy way out and leaving those left behind to deal with the fall out.

never knew different regions had different things available... ridiculous. Now I've got Hola, i'll be seeing what else i can watch. Is there an (easy) way of connecting my PC to TV (They are about 8M away from each other, in the same room) Edit: a search of ebay has unearthed this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SVGA-VGA-15PIN-MALE-TO-MALE-PC-MONITOR-TV-LCD-PLASMA-PROJECTOR-TO-TFT-CABLE-LEAD-/281035627731 billy bargain

Im probably in a minority here, but the fist thing that came to mind was "selfish" Great actor, and a troubled mind, perhaps, but what a selfish thing to do.

I agree it's expensive, but it is hardly the club's fault for the cost of public transport. If you want to moan at anyone, speak to First Bus. you couldn't ask for a more central stadium
