I couldn't go on monday. But a couple of girls from my work who went for the first time (boyfriends), said they were suprised by the amount of abuse etc hurled at the saints team, from saints fans. The odd outburst of fustration occasionally, fine. But it seems more and more continuous.

Morrissey's Smiths lyrics i've always loved. The Jam (Paul Weller) have song after song with clever lyrics which i can relate to. Ah the days when lyrics were acctually original, expressive etc.

I find our support is becoming more and more embarrassing. Firstly we were f*cking quiet, and rarely did anything get going. Then you have the all round cringeyness. I'm forever blowing bubbles- why?! Then doing the whole 'United United' thing at the end as if they're on Green Street. I'd like to ask those who sing it- do you find it either offensive/funny when teams sing Play up Pompey to us? No it f*cking pathetic. Then you get the ever increasing brigade of people who only seem to perk up and sing if its aimed at the opposing fans. Today's witty highlights include, 'Your support is f*cking sh*t (when they'd been better than us), the thing that always amuses me about this one- is the people who sing it always seem to be the zombie types who never make an effort to get behind the team. Shall we sing a song for you, and who are ya also had me in stitches for the sheer originality and humour. Our new theme song seems to be 'der der der f*cking useless'. WHY!? Its getting sung more and more, and today i even heard it being sung at our own players missing a chance (when we were 1-0 up for f*cks sake).

great to have Lambert back, held it up really well. Lee didn't get much chance in fairness. Type of game today we really could have done with Chaplow to hold things at the back. Last thing we needed was a replay, with this busy and difficult period coming up. On another note- i swear some of our fans get more and more embarrassing by the game..

As Jack pointed out, the 'we forgot that you were here' etc is alwasys sung by the same people who have been silent until we score. The atmosphere did just seem very flat, too many zombie types. Their stewards were p*icks. Our song repertoire is also very bad. The football made up for it though. Could have been so much more in the second half, fantastic to watch. And had Lambert been in the box i'm sure it would have been!

It was no coincidence i had a camera shoved in my face then throughout the match against Brighton in the Itchen North. Intent on catching people out. I asked one of the OB why it was necessary at half time he didn't have a f*cking clue.
