He's had a lot of stick from fans last season and over the summer, from myself as well but this season he has been absolutely sensational. Best attacking player this season for us so far. A joy to watch and defintely has earnt his captaincy based on his performances. An incredibly loyal player and as much a legend as Lambert is.

Anyone how Banega has got on this season? He is the one I still want. A replacement for Gaston. Imagine hin and Osvaldo in the same team!

This guy will be great for us. Stick with him. Look at Jovetic, he has done barely anything yet would you write him off!? We need more flare from midfield ie. that player who will read Osvaldo's clever movement/runs. We have an awesome player in our squad and the fact that he is still bedding in and we are sitting in 4th beggars belief. What a time it is to be a Saints fan!! Enjoy it and get behind the players who need it!

Really fancy us in this game. We'll set up to frustrate them and their fans would soon get on their backs. 1-2 win in dramatic fashion.

I used to think the PL moaned and groaned when he had the referees from league 1/Championship but I'm suprised at how awful they've been this and last season. Is it because of the pressures and publicity of the PL?

We have defintely played a few more long balls. But we do pass it around the back (too much sometimes!) so I don't agree totally with that article. And no we are not the new West Ham. Only have to look at how they played against us recently to see we are nothing like them.

Agreed, against Liverpool we played nice passing football and pressed them high.

Didn't realise that we did not take the full allocation. Why, we would have sold out both those. I tried desperately to get tickets for both ffs.

With prices going up and being able to stream every game people are not going as much. Forty odd quid is a lot for a ticket. We've sold out every away game.

Unchanged team for me and a great opportunty for a first home win of the new campaign. Palace won't park the bus and will try to attack us which suits our pressing. Fancy Osvaldo to score his first. Saints 3-1 win. Osvaldo, Lallana and Fonte with the goals.

Midfield was sensational. Morgan back to his best. Steven David was an excellent sub. Buzzing.

Still wanna see hin get forward more and see Morgan sit deeper during attacks. He looked better when carrying the ball forward. Very early days to judge him fully. Think he is a very promising player though. Liverpool will be a test for him.
