A bit like Stekelenburg?

This is speculative nonsense.
-
Back at United, then.
-
OGS for me.

Not having the balls to hire Gary O’Neil is a colossal mistake.
-
Same old dirge. Boro ramping up the pressure now. Won’t be long until they score.
-
Another terrible performance. One takeaway is the commentator mentioned Nathan Wood is the son of Dean Gordon. I didn’t know that.
-
If this is an accurate quote, what’s the point of even being a manager these days? No wonder players appear to be so disconnected to a club and fan base. The “together as one”mentality is long gone. We’re just a team patched together by various other people’s input with a “head coach” expected to make it all work.

Sheffield United will go up along with Ipswich.

First post of 2026. Let’s do this!

I’m so done with possession-based, passing football. Watching United against a team as poor as Wolves tonight is as frustrating as watching us. They never look like scoring despite all the possession and are open to conceding. It’s so pointless. Just get it forward and direct. The players can’t enjoy this. It’s devoid of any passion.

We look complete sh*te already. What has happened?
-
Stansfield x2, Gray.
-
Easy 3-0 win for Birmingham. We’re in free fall.
-
It’s clear we’re not going up under Eckert. Where do we go from here?
-
Sort it out.
-
Tonda honeymoon firmly over.
-
Does anyone actually read beyond the clickbait headlines? They’ve quoted a former scout who reckons he’d benefit from moving to PNE due to their links with Everton. Zero suggestion there’s a move on the cards for Dibling, which there won’t be.
-
Hopefully there’s an alternative we can turn to manager-wise, hence only the 18 month deal for Tonda. We’re going to slide down the table soon.
-
I’ve said this many times on this forum but the Villa game is the exact moment we went into free fall as a club and we’ve never recovered.
-
Absolutely not. You could see Norwich were easily dealing with our build-up play through the middle, even after 10 minutes.
-
If you look at my post history, I posted Norwich had our number 10 minutes into the first half. I was met with a few laughs, but ultimately I was spot on as usual.
-
It was evident from the second half against West Brom that Tonda isn’t some sort of second coming. We were very lucky to have won that. I was worried we’d take that 45 minutes into the Norwich match, and I was spot on (see my posts). Clement had us sussed very early on and, despite the penalty miss and Scenzia hitting the bar, we were largely second best. We aren’t going up under him.

Norwich have our number here.
