Its not funny though is it. You need a serious opposition party. What we actually have is a momentum puppet party. They control the broader party membership, and they deliberately canvassed for momentum mp's (over marginal seats) in the GE to try and get a momentum majority in the Parliamentary Labour party. They are a bunch of far left anti semetic socialists. And having a laughable opposition allows the government to proceed unopposed in their own agenda (with little chance of repercussions). I hope that if the moderates fail to displace the momentum hold over labour, that they then all upticks and split / leave the party.

Still loving the outpouring of grief and tears at the election result. Is this ever going to get old?
-
It's exactly this. For me there is no contest. There will be no recovery for a generation if corbyn gets in. The far left have zero place in government, I'm urging everyone I know to vote tactically and limit labour's power in parliment. Badly need someone else to step up as an electable opposition next term however, and this current labour party need to swiftly dissappear over the horizon.
-
Good job hypo! The more voters who stand up against our anti semetic far left opposition the better! Sadly, even if Corbyn loses this GE, the stranglehold momentum have over Labour means they have no place as a centre ground (or even centre left) opposition. I truly hope we don't wake up tomorrow to a Labour / SNP coalition government. The UK will be in serious trouble if that happens.

I sure as **** hope you aren't another mug voting for labour then.

Everyone has a choice this general election. Vote for Labour, or vote against them. If you do vote for Labour, you are voting for a minority government that will be propped up by the SNP. The country will face years more uncertainty and under investment caused by an another magically negotiated Brexit deal (that they'll campaign against) and a second referendum in Scotland (who will quite possibly leave) - That's more uncertainty and under investment in the UK's economy. On top of that, Labour are going to go on a reckless nationalisation spree, putting the country into significant debt with no investment in the economy for all that spend. The debt and deficit will balloon... They've lied about who they are taxing, and will target children's inheritance whilst removing the married couple's allowance. This is not the actions of a "caring" socialist state supportive of families. They'll strip defence spending to the bone, cancel trident, and have been apparently been relying on Russian leaked dossiers for their campaign (see Reddit'S own announcement on source). Plus, there is no hiding the fact that there is a significant anti antisemitism issue within the labour party and its membership (latest example yesterday from a labour candidate on Nick Robinson), nor the ugly fact that Corbyn has supported the enemies of Britain and/or terrorists whenever the chance has arisen. From top to bottom, they are simply not fit to run the country. Political alignment needs to be put aside for this GE unfortunately. The very last thing this country needs on December 13th is to wake up to Jeremy Corbyn in 10 Downing Street with Sturgeon holding his dog collar. I'd implore everyone to look at the last GE results for your constituency and vote for whichever party has the best chance to take a seat/hold off of this Labour party!

Sets a Premier League record for breaking up play. Gets critiqued for being knackered.

Not according to Lighthouse apparently

Long, ings, djenpo and James warde prowse should all start most games for us. Its obvious. Gives us balance and a threat up front, and they compliment each other nicely.
-
I thought James warde prowse and ings were superb. Owth long and djenpo we finnaly have a shame and look balanced and effective on the attack. Leaves boufal and redmond to fight for the other spot.
-
I thought it was superb for a maiden outing. Obviously the future and I remain shocked and frustrated that we still don't have it as fans in the UK. Currently we have to pay fortunes to attend 3pm kick offs, just so their is an atmosphere (debatable) for people watching in Asia.
-
We were dead certs for relegation when he joined. So to give improvement / results a 5/10 or 6/10 is poor. Since he's been here the club have weakened the squad bar the signing of djenpo. He's a miracle worker if he keeps us up in both 2 seasons with this squad.
-
Prowsey having another good game for us. We have some epic boo boys fans, has to be said.

You actually don't know who Chris Marsden is? Thats really sad.

BBC should be scrapped, or constrained to arts coverage, news, educational programmes, free to access sports and the like. IMO anyway. As an organisation it has become extremely out of touch with the population, displays a lot of arrogance/ignorance, overpays its workers, and too politicised. No longer even remotley fit for purpose, especially in today's world of on demand streaming access. It should be revamped as a high calibre impartial information and cultural platform.

Or you can be the Labour party... knowing that a lot of people are gullible enough to lend you their vote
-
Lol, that ground was half empty vs Altringham. Where does he get 16.4k out of 19k capacity (when did it drop so low ) for the attendance!
-
They were bloody lucky to beat Altringham, has to be said. The team in red and white were certianly the better side and should have had a blatant penalty in the first half not given.
-
You are very much n the wrong for the vast majority of fans. Its a crucial win, and you're still looking to attack players (match winning players at that), as well as other fans. You seem more annoyed that we won than most Watford and Portsmouth fans.

The rules are that if a hand is involved in the build up to a goal, its disallowed.

I don't think you can say we were asset stripped. We've spent a fortune on players over the past couple of seasons. With multiple £15m+ buys proving to be utterly terrible. A little bit of perspective is required when levelling around those accusations - they carried a lot more weight before we started panic splashing the wonga. As some of us have always said, we just had incredibly inept people making the business decisions and an owner that did want to minimise outlay with the ambition (probably naively) that the club could be self sufficient. -
Thrown away 2 points tonight vs arsenal. Absolutely criminal. The parallels to 04/05 are there for all to see... We're going down.
-
That article is hilarious. Such blatant click bait. It says he has a knee ligament injury, and then says getting him back could be a blessing in disguise as he can make a difference to the first team. I know we're bad, but a lazy injured midfielder with no knee ligaments that can't run (and can barely control or pass the football lets be honest) is not the answer

I've said it before, but Les Reed should go down as one of the worst things to ever happen to Saints. We are inching our way towards an abyss far worse than 2009.
