Quite lighthouse, we didn't need another attacking mid in Rothwell.... Wasted transfer that one. Especially as starting him seems to coincide with a totally disjointed starting 11, loss of defensive cohesion, and poor possesion. We needed cover at CDM, or better yet at LB. Alcaraz was more than fine as a squad player at this level. We are where we are. Martin needs to work out how to rotate the squad without totally unbalancing the team every other game. And why the hell he's wasting the entire first half to make a change here is mad. We've changed nothing and are getting played off the pitch at home.

Almost conceded again with rothwell being on a totally different wavelength to bazunu. Should not be starting, need an anchor. And Alcaraz was perfectly suited to play the same role and we could have signed a CM cover instead... or even a better left back ffs.

He's having real issues balancing and rotating the squad imo. Manning and rothwell should not be starting. And if rothwell is going to start he has to drop stu. Can't be unbalancing the side this much. Its inexcusable. Stephens should blatantly be starting over manning.

Seems to be a recurring pattern, rothwell plays and our defence / midfield is shit. Lack of balance to the side? Or is he just poor defensively? Not to mention manning.

This is feasible, although unlikely. The Leicester fans i know don't think they are actually as good as the table suggests, and that they will drop points under pressure - i.e. if the gap narrows they will start to drop more... but as yet, the gap hasn't narrowed. FWIW, I think we will beat hull, and i think we will beat Millwall at home... i even think Leicester will lose to leeds (by which point the gap becomes 5 points). But after that, its anyone's guess. It requires us to be on shit hot form for the rest of the year, and for Leicester to have a proper blip... and still, for us to get promoted / win the division, it requires Leeds to beat Leicester and then start to drop points However. If, and thats a capital and italic "IF", we are going to catch them, it will look something like the above.

Never ever a penalty. It's whacked at him at pace and his arm is in a standard running position. If anything it's tucked in and he's purely flinching from the anticipated impact. But we're lucky to be ahead. Basically a set play and very little from open play. Looked to be flagging from 30min as well, that or totally out foxed by the west brom mananger as the half has gone on. Need to come out much better after half time! Only a matter of time before WBA score if we keep going like this!!!

Going to go out on a limb and say we won't be winning this one sadly. Team looks very jaded and disjointed recently. A lot of change and inability to rotate efficiently looks set to hurt us in the short term. Need to mitigate the damage and stay in touch with leeds until our respective forms recover.

Yeah right. If we rotate the hell out of the team in one go, change up to play really defensive, and generally unsettle the team chemistry... Then yes... We won't be going into those games sitting above them 😂🤣

When literally everyone can see we have no serious cdm cover, shit at left back, and no RB cover to speak off. Kwp has basically had no rotation and is clearly off his peak.

I don't accept the comments from people saying no effort or passion from the players today, particularly on twitter etc. They've run their socks off and brooks almost injured himself trying to score ffs. But tactically this was so so poor today, and that is all on Martin in my books I'm afraid. He's changed his tactics to be less attacking and more defensive, and ultimatley bottled this big time.
