It's a silly point. Spurs didn't sign Bale from a top 7 club. They signed him from a Championship club teetering on the brink of administration.

This is a myth. We wern't actually promoted twice in two years. The squad was awful, the manager clueless and the people in charge of the club don't know what they are doing, or how to sign players. We also spent a measly £30m in the summer!!! That's it! I mean, 6 whole clubs in Europe spent more than that. Saints must be skint.

We should take the example of both the clubs that spend A LOT more and A LOT less than us. Next season I want us to spend lots and nothing at the same time. Unless we sign players on bigger contracts than others, who contribute slightly more in a lot more games they are failed signings. If they have not scored 5 hat-tricks in their first 5 minutes of their debut they are an unmitigated disaster, and subsequent performances, and no matter how said players perform are to have no bearing on opinions whatsoever.

Guys! Can everyone stop being mean to Alps? Poor little lamb has been away for a while, and is now having to put up with all the meanies disagreeing with him. He is having to put up with people disagreeings with him, and the soldier that he is is having to doll out names for all of them. All that unprovoked abuse. We may lose him again! This can't be true. Alpine is a poster that never is horrible or abusive to anyone, it's poor little him that takes all the abuse from every one. He is also massively in denial about Adkins, he was one of the merrymen banging the drum for his departure, calling him 'clueless' on more than one occasion. The ever consistent posters on here seem to have all forgotten how they wanted Adkins replaced, seem to be pining for him now they got what they want.
