Hello, sorry for the thread on this. But saw someone recommend on a stream thread a while back somewhere you can stream on iPad. My laptop has died, so would be great if I could get a stream in me iPad. Ta.

Hope to be wrong, but can't see us not losing this. Pains me to say it, but Liverpool are starting to look a really good side. Realistically it's not a game we are expecting to win, but I still imagine this place is going to go into meltdown later. Probs avoid it if I'm honest. G'warn lads, please prove me wrong. The one mitigating factor, under MP we have looked better against the 'bigger' teams, Everton, Utd, City, than the supposedly lesser teams, QPR et al.

G'warn lad! Really hope this happens.

I've never seen him not try. Sometimes he has bad games, no denial about that, but he always looks bothered to me. Also, the game I saw him in the flesh away at Fulham, he took a kicking every time he got the ball and just got on with it. Me and my non-Saints supporting mates that came with me were all quite surprised by this. The Harry point doesn't really work, as Harry and QPR throw money at players that have already peaked, and are living on past glories. We spent big on a player that may well go on to bigger things. It's a gamble, no doubt, but it will have been considered. People who keep saying it was a Cortese signing thinking he did this without any input from anyone else basically void their own arguments, demonstrating exactly how ignorant they are. We have a greater chance of recouping the cost of Ramirez, than QPR do any of their signings. Again, players like Gaston are notorious for taking time to settle. Ronaldo for his first two years had very little end product for Utd, and was often ridiculed for his set-piece abilities. Drogba too was pretty unspectacular in his first season. It's frustrating, as we clearly need players to perform now. But the timing of the signing, and the fee aren't really Gaston's fault. Whether it is with us, or elsewhere, the guy will deliver, and once again those so quick to write people off will be wrong, not that they will ever admit it.

Haha yeah, I think like most things, it's about balance. I guess we have got ours just right, seeing as one of our games is amongst the most played and highest grossing in the world at the moment. With ours you are given options (for example, when you reach a stage where you are asked to pay to unlock the next set of levels, you can alternatively invite friends on Facebook to help you). In fact with our games, it is always possibly to complete games (which can be over 300 levels) without paying a single penny. Most who do complete, actually do so without paying. So basically, it's about balance.

What a silly bear he is

I do loves a Japanese girl. There better not be any of this censored rubbish abound. What's the chuffing point? Until I hear a pitch from both sides, I couldn't possibly pledge my allegiances either way as yet.

I genuinely wonder what the people that slate him want. "Oh he's a passenger, he goes missing all the time". Then when they get their way, and we get a team full of Chaplow-esque try-hard work horses, they will moan about a lack of flair players to unlock defences. Which we still more chance of doing with him in the side. Players of his quality can unlock a team even if they have done f all for the other 70 minutes of a game. Frustrating as hell, but that's what these players are like.

Hmmm Team Toke or Team Bear. Decisions, decisions...

Exactly, the reason there is such furore around the guy is because this is very much the exception. Those sort of deals don't happen all the time.
-
How do we know we didn't? I think once it became apparent Laudrup was in for him, it would have taken a Utd-esque club to keep him from Swansea, well in my opinion at least.

Obsessed at the minute, can't stop listening to the bloke. Too excited for his show in July! 'Til then, I shall be amusing my colleagues bobbing away to this:

You aren't alone. I work for a games company that uses the 'freemium' model. The amount of people we get moaning about it is ridiculous. Luckily, the number of people that aren't so bothered far outweighs them, and enough people pay to keep me in work

I too was at that Glasto headline set (well if it was '08, have they headlined before?), not that I can remember much of it Also saw him at Hop Farm last year, was kinda weird as was watching the Euro finals on a big Screen whilst he was also playing. He sounded good, though I never really was a huge Verve fan if I am honest. Pretty much bankrupted myself with gigs the past few weeks. Booked to go see HAIM @ Koko in May. Peace in April. Then 3 of the Somerset House Summer Series (all of which look really good!), My boy Richard Hawley, Jessie Ware (I like her, but really for the GF who loves her, I drag her to enough gigs so seems fair) and then Edward Sharpe, gutted I'm away for Basement Jaxx, such great performers!

Love these girls.

I still think he will come good. Whether or not he was a signing for us this season is debatable, but also not really his fault. Fulham away he changed the game once he was moved more central, absolutely everything was going through him, despite Fulhams attempts to kick lumps out of him. If we stick with him, I am convinced he will become a top player. He is still young, and these types of foreign players regularly take a year or so to reach their best form once coming to England. Again, not ideal for us now, but that is the position we are in. Give the lad time, he will be class.

Put it this way, I have said nothing to Barry here that I wouldn't say over a pint down the pub. Whether Mr. Sanchez would want to sit and have a pint with me is a whole other story.

Wenger on Premier League Failures
KelvinsRightGlove replied to KelvinsRightGlove's topic in General Sports
Us lot? I have not said that once for what it's worth. I think to some extent other teams have gotten better. I don't think we would be as low down the table with our squad now, in the season we went down. -
No surprise with the latest England squad then
KelvinsRightGlove replied to TopGun's topic in The Saints
Nor Osman most likely. Good player though, well I think at least. To be honest, we aren't going to win 2014. I think we should just totally scrap the 'old gaurd' - Terry, Lampard, Gerrard, Barry, Carrick, Cole (still class, but hardly the future), Rio etc and just blood the next generation. Even if they do get tanked at the World Cup. Interesting Rio is back in the squad, few years ago CB was one of Englands strongest position, looks remarkably thin now. -
No one, is bullying anyone. Differing ideas and opinions are being discussed. Which I understood forums to be about. There hasn't been any name calling, or entire clans ridiculing one poster that disagrees with them. Well, that's at least how I see it. Do you think that's fair Bazza?

The thing is, religion is inherently unreasonable. Catholicism is based on a 2000 year old book, which was decreed by people that claim to have spoken to god. When these people believe the world is 6,000 years old, and the entire human race is related to Adam & Eve, asking for reasonable views may be a stretch too far.

They said on the news last night this new one is said to ask for respect for gay people. Considering most church folk call them perverted, this is something of progress.
