In 9 more appearances, Johnson has one more of both. Seeing as Gaston is averaging a goal & assist every 5 games, in those extra 9 games, he could well be equal to or outperforming Johnson on both those criteria. C'mon Turks, you can do better than that.

Thing is, I thought he'd do really well at Wham. I mean if anyone is going to get the best out of him, it would be Fat Sam. I thought the signings of Carroll & Jarvis were his master plan? Though neither have exactly flourished. Granted, he has been injured, but a striker you are agreeing to potentially pay £17m (plus, what? £70k-80k p/w) returning 3 goals in 17 appearances is somewhat disappointing.

Not saying a lot did this, but there were definitely one or two that even moaned about Reading doing much better than us in Transfers. Frankly, I'd much rather have the players we got than the ones they got.
