  1. if you hate saints, the owners, the players, the fans, the kit, the ceo etc etc why support them? why come on a saints forum with people who actually like the club, and then act surprised when people get fed up. difference is, when I'm wrong I'll admit it.
  2. I can be ever so persistent, don't write me off just yet.
  3. oops, I actually quoted the wrong post, apologies my hairy friend.
  4. Oh turks, you are such an inspiration. I strive to sit atop that high high horse of yours.
  5. Never been on one in my life Bazza, so probably not. 1700 posts, and not one of any quality. Its all well good trying to portray yourself as some hard done by little victim, but look at the amount of times people get fed up with you. I dont really know why i bother, this is exactly what you want. You say you want to discuss Saints, yet you say the same handful of things over and over, and just disagree blindly no matter what. It is like trying to debate with Alex Jones (not the welsh one). Sad.
  6. Does that make you a mongboardist too?
  7. Coming from you lad? Even Zuckerberg ent that rich.
  8. It's basically the first 2 posters. Seriously, another thread on this? Like it's that cut and dry? How about those that think we will struggle but still stay up?
  9. Or, 1 x Rickie Lambert 1 x Morgan Schneiderlin 1 x Jason Puncheon 1 x Jose Fonte 1 x jack Cork 1 x Steven Davis FFS, I hate how sh!t saints are at transfers
  10. I thought they had an option to buy, but it wasn't set in stone. I thought this is part of the reason he turned down the initial deal, as really he wanted to go back to Newcastle if it was going to be permanent? Could be way off, just my understanding of it?
  11. Getting a big money move doesn't exactly mean you are a great player though. That said, I do think for all the money GB spent, he did underachieve.
  12. Given where they were when he took over, and their off the field troubles (finances etc), surviving relegation battles was seen as successful though? He was also challenging for Europe at one point, which is A) not a relegation battle, and B) quite successful. If you are going to attempt to put words in my mouth, at least spell them right.
  13. This is true, but I guess what I was trying to say is; £6m probably won't get close to the cost of replacing him - and as I'm aware Saints aren't exactly skint. So I would rather we held on to him, rather than strengthen our opponents. Personally, I still think JRod will end up being a very good Premiership Striker.
  14. It's not an awful price, but to get someone as good/better is most likely going to cost about twice as much? Assuming we are still in the Prem, and are still financially secure, I see no reason to strengthen a rival Prem side whilst weakening ourselves.
  15. Those statistics? Prove you right? One poor spell after 3 success seasons? Get a clue.
  16. Do you actually understand anything remotely related to football?
  17. And got 42 England Caps, scoring 22 goals, as well as playing in the Champions League for both Spurs & Liverpool.
  18. Another thread on this necessary? Besides, you also haven't mentioned Billy Sharp.
  19. It is kinda funny though...
  20. Just bagged tickets to a 'secret' show on Thursday Palma Violets supporting Suede!! Decent!
  21. I didn't say you did sir. It was reply to another post, that said we were getting footballing lessons week in week out.
  22. It was a decent performance granted, I would stop short of calling it great, or a 'footballing lesson'.
  23. I like the Bundesliga, but it's really not all that different in terms of top clubs dominating. Only one more club has won it since 92/93 than the EPL. It has still effectively been dominated by Bayern & Dortmund.
  24. Oh man, I didn't even get a namecheck. Note to self, must try harder.
