Hadn't Hoddle and Woodward already managed England when we employed them?
-
Jaysus, Wotton is still playing?!
-
I'm still not 100%, but this article suggest that 4th would still qualify.
-
I forgot about that!
-
This is how I see it as well. Frankly, I'm not bothered. I'd be delighted with either #copout

Laying dormant for 8 years for this! How bizarre.

I didn't want to stoke those embers again, Mr. Hypo.

Copied from the JRod to City thread:

I heard he flat out refused to wear 'home brand'. If it's not Nike or Adidas he's just not interested. Teenagers, eh?

Thankfully, it sounds like Mr Carlisle is on the mend: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30809411

The biggest outrage known in the history of football. I'd quite like to know how that would have panned out to be fair. AL: "What's going on guys? I hear everyone wants to leave" LR: "Aye, it seems that way Ads. As captain, you are going to help us convince them stay, right?" AL: "Me?! Nah, I want to play Champions League." LR: "So why are you concerned?" AL: "I want to leave, but I still want my paychecks" AL: "Guys" AL: "WHY WON"T YOU RESPOND TO ME?!?!"

Premier League Wage Bills - Comparison
KelvinsRightGlove replied to Greenridge's topic in The Saints
How does the tax thing work now Windows? I remember a conversation we had where you were telling me about a large fine/payment Monaco had to make (was it to the league or govt, sorry I forget) on account of them not paying as much tax to players. -
Anyone who thinks otherwise is utterly deluded. MELTDOWN!!
-
Is that the 'clearing' of fluid that was reported to have built up in/around his knee? Remembering hearing something about that.
-
Ok I think the world is broken. Windows has a more positive take on things than me. I'm scared.

Don't hear/see "Wreck It Ralph" or "Fat Kat" trotted out so much these days. Strange that.

Just can't see it now. He's proven himself good enough for a title challenging/CL team. We've long been saying how good he is, people are really starting to cotton on to this now. GNev saying himself yday he is good enough for any team in the league. Plus, I cannot see Spurs coughing up anywhere near what we would demand. I think Morgan will leave in the summer, I've said so several times, but can't imagine it'll be for Spurs.
-
Concur with this. If we were to fade away, and West Ham (who seem to be the most likely) made a strong run I'd absolutely cheer them on. I want someone to crack it, though clearly the ideal is Saints being the one to break that stranglehold.

:adore:

Still think it is a huge ask. Arsenal just always seem to creep home somehow, plus this year they have a truly World Class game-changer in Sanchez who can dig them out of holes. I'm not sure if they have had that the last couple of years. I think we are in the race, and we certainly have a fair chance Ultimately, I'm a Saints fan so pessimism is strongly engrained. I'll be delighted if we make it, but certainly don't expect it and won't be overly disappointed should we miss out. I still think being where we are at the moment is brilliant, and I'll just enjoy us doing well whilst we are. Anything could yet happen.
-
I'd be inclined to agree. Though I may be willing to accept that that one came as something of a surprise. I remember hearing it came about quite quickly, and it was pretty obvious Lambert would have wanted to go (still don't blame the bloke, I imagine I'd have felt the same). Though my memories of timings of statements in relation to transfers is slightly patchy. Was it Reed saying no players were being sold and then this happened a day or two later?

A cracking rebuttal of the demand for an apology http://www.islam21c.com/special/a-james-obrien-masterclass-in-how-to-deal-with-people-demanding-that-muslims-apologise-for-charliehebdo/
