'ex saints and england legend' persona non grata

I think you're reading too much into it - the advert would have been organised weeks ago - MLT probably hadn't firmed up and they had another on standby. Clearly you conspiracy theorists have far too much time on their hands. -
Bit of a bug bear for me this but I just feel that certainly the assistants and some refs just cannot keep up with the modern game - certainly with the Rodriguez offside the assistant was well behind the pace and made the decision on the diagonal and this was borne out by MOTD2. Seen that a few times this season - they cannot match a professional's pace.

In fairness though most places of employment are not the best places to work in my experience - I have worked for a few idiots in my time and I am sure I was viewed likewise. Human nature dictates that most of us want to coast doing the the minimum and collecting the maximum salary we can get away with - NC strikes me as somebody who is driven and ambitious so is probably going to p off a few people who don't share that. It's just a clash of cultures. I do not necessarily want my club to be a comfortable place to work - I want it to be challenging and ambitious and I want results on the pitch.

The problem with NA as I see it is that he has no Premiership nouse - Di Canio would be the same. Look at West Ham - say what you like about Allardyce - he knows what to do to survive and that's what we need. NA needs to get a defensive war horse in - must be a few around with Premiership experience - get them working on our back line. -
This.

ooo this is better than East Enders - what happened next?
-
----- ooo errr that may be me - I do get a little frustrated with our lack of penetration at times - playing the safe ball - not when we are two nil up though! At the Skate game woman behind me sat for the whole match on her I phone - clearly had been brought along by the boyfriend wasn't interested and didn't want to be there - waste of a ticket imho

I only asked - appreciate I should have done something but was worried about the reaction plus did look for a steard but none appeared to be readily available without it being very obvious.

Sat in the Kingsland towards the Northam corner yesterday - towards the end of the match one of the Burnley players (who was black) got injured and was moved to the touchline. At the top of his voice someone sat in front of me shouted 'give him a banana' - then looked round at all around him challenging us to say anything and looked very pleased with himself when no-one reacted. In fairness I was a bit surprised and didn't react - the chap was sat next to a small girl who clearly thought it hilarious. Got his seat number. Suggestions as to what I should do?

Really poor commentary - too much Dave and not enough of the action. It's got worse this season.
