  2. I'm just glad that we do not have a chairman who uses the club as an opportunity to get themselves on TV in the papers etc - it may change but at the moment refreshing
  3. only thing for me is the abuse of the so called plastic fans - some people have responsibilities and value their families over say the price of a ticket and so have to pick and choose matches.
  4. what got me was they made him get on the stretcher himself - if it had been rugby he would have been immobilized immediately and carefully placed on the stretcher - very lucky bloke.

  13. funnily enough saw a Ben Dover episode recently that starts in Gunwharf and finishes with two slappers in a council flat! The fact that they were sister-in-laws apparently added to Ben's enjoyment.
  14. that was about the age I took my twin girls - suggestion pack an ipod with a few TV programmes on it or DS - that way after 10 minutes she'll be happy and you can watch the game in peace! Avoid the Northam as it can be a bit intimidating for a 4 year old on occasions!!

  21. Just had a double hernia op myself and can truly say very painful and takes a while to heal - appreciate Barnard is younger and much fitter than me but will take a month - wonder why it wasnt done during his enforced absence?
