  1. At least if you're going to break the rules and post in here try to make sure that you're not talking toss.
  2. He's the bastard love child of the pair. Pigore? Eeylet?
  3. Everything that came out of the club was branded "bullsh1t" by half the supporters anyway, regardless of the truth.
  4. So you're saying that we should have had a January firesale to raise as much cash as we could just in case Barclays hardened their position towards us further? Can you imagine the outcry?
  5. Very little difference, tbf.
  6. Excellent. It's a little grey and depressing this morning and this made me actually laugh out loud. Thanks. Mods - can we have a name change please? Alpine_Saint to Piglet.
  7. I doubt that Donny or Hull are bemoaning the involvement of their local councils in the ownership of their new grounds either.
  8. I think he feels that the rug was unexpectedly pulled from under him by Barclays. Doubtless had Barclays made their intentions clear in January then anyone of any value would have been flogged to avoid the sh*tstorm we're in now.
  9. Guess this depends on who owes B'mouth the money - SLH Plc or SFC Ltd.
  10. And what about the small, local businesses who are doubtless owed money by SLH and will be way down the pecking order? I imagine that they "give a shiiit" if they don't get paid.

The pubic triangle  Grassmarket/Haymarket are about 100 times more "toursity" than Rose St/George St.
  12. Erm, that's not a quote from the Luton director, is it you silly moo?
  13. You clearly are I'm afraid, Wes. Headline - "Luton director Stephen Browne admits the club are prepared to take legal action against the Football League if they fail to dock points from Southampton". Actual quotes that mention legal action - 0. Kinder people than I would call it "journalistic licence". I call it bullsh1t.
  14. Any quote from Luton that mentions legal action?
  15. I still think you might struggle to find many clubs who managed to raise best part of £30m for a new ground who were not listed, but I may very well be wrong. I'd also exempt the clubs "lucky" enough to have a sugar daddy owner perpared to invest his own money without looking for a return.
  16. The only clubs that did get any kind investment from such institutions rather than private individuals/consortia that I can think of, off the very top of my head admittedly, were (owned by - hello Mr Mawhinney) PLC's. There may be some who were not but I'd expect them to be in a minority, no?
  17. Except if we had made further reductions to our playng staff in order to cut costs further as our financial situation demanded, they would quite possibly have gained more points than us rather easily. I can see their point, just as I could see why the 10 point deduction was brought in after Leicester mugged everyone else and morally I believe we're due a deduction. However, if we're legally free of punishment, I'll not lose much sleep. If the league won't punish Billy Davies for being an obnoxious little c*nt or Chris Morgan for assaulting Ian Hume, as they morally ought to, they have no reason to start on us...
  18. Except the Football League still have to behave within their own rules and guidelines.
  19. Personally I hope he is there to do something that's bl0ody-well constructive and helps this club rather than worrying about his ego, but there we are.
  20. Just when you thought he couldn't get any more ridiculous.
  21. A process improvement that any management consultant would be proud of.
  22. Have you had an accident with your parent company entering administration that wasn't your fault? Have your football league docked you points because of it? Did you know that you could be eligible for compensation but didn't think you could afford it? Well, you can! Just call Claims Direct for a no win, no fee quote!
