I see Smiffys, the fancy dress company, are on the list of creditors So are the MOD. Simon Conning Consultancy Ltd are owed £84k. They somehow owe the Premier League Medical Care Scheme £56k. They owe Jumping Jacks £696. Fuglers Solicitors (ex home of thread hero Mark Jacob) are also on the list. Just about every travel company on the south coast. What a mess. Again.

Where's Storrie-Teller when you need him

The only game that has been all ticket London Rd this season was West Ham - all other games it's been possible to pay on the gate for away fans. I don't think Posh bother with the allocating tickets in blocks on sale/return malarky as I don't think the away allocations are variable. Everyone gets the few hundred seats in the main stand and the whole Moyes End. Given their own attendances are so low (relative to everyoe else in the league, expect maybe Pompey!) big away followings are important finanically.

FC - I think I'm correct in saying that HMRC have never voted in favour of a football club CVA where they have been offered less than 100%.

OK, so through all the bluster we've got a bit sidetracked. How does PFC2010 Ltd (or whatever the **** they're called now) move forward? http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/manuals/insmanual/ins3217.htm 5 ways to exit Admin: 1 - CVA or similar agreed with creditors 2 - Dissolution 3 - Creditors Voluntary Liquidation 4 - Compulsory Liquidation 5 - Return to Directors Looking at each of these: 1 - A CVA would need to be agreed by HMRC and Baker Tilley. Unlikey to accept less than 100%. Chances of that? ...... 2 - PFC2010 is toast. Given that there's no CVA, the FL might allow the football club golden share to be transferred to a new company but with a hefty points deduction. Of course, they might not Plan B required. 3 - PFC2010 is toast. Given that there's no CVA, the FL might allow the football club golden share to be transferred to a new company but with a hefty points deduction. Or they might not - Plan B required. 4 - PFC2010 is toast. Given that there's no CVA, the FL might allow the football club golden share to be transferred to a new company but with a hefty points deduction. Or maybe not - Plan B required. 5 - Likely means debts to have been paid in full. Given there's no chance of them being able to do that on their own, it needs a massive cash injection. A takeover, essentially. Cost? Astronomical. Value to new owners? Minimal. Chances of that? ..... For all that's been said about trusts, supporters groups, old CVA's, consortium takeovers and Tal Ben Haim, not much has changed.

The FL won't apply any penalty for the failure of CVA1 until it is confirmed, to everyone's satisfaction, that no money will be paid into it. Despite Birch saying it's failed, in reality all that has happened to date is that they're late with the first payment (par for the course, you might say). Should the club be taken over and all debts paid in full, including CVA1, there's no reason for any points penalty - so the FL can't penalise them now. The fate of CVA1 has yet to be decided and until it is, the FL can't act. But you can bet your arse they're watching very carefully. PFC123 and TB can claim there'll definitely be no further penalty all they like, they don't that for sure. Remember that any CVA2 will need HMRC and BakerTilley to vote for it.

TBF, Neil Allen really doesn't know his arse from his elbow, so i wouldn't worry too much about what he says will or will not happen.

When he was still Swindon's Admin though trousers. He's not in the position at Cheats FC.

Matter of interpretation then WSS. I'm pretty sure that the schedule for payments is binding, hence stating the date that the contributions are "Due On". As Pedg said above, AA could (and indeed, did) fudge the payment schedule and missed the original first payment date but that was prior to OldCo liquidation when AA was still OldCo Administrator. Once liquidated, matters were taken out of his hands and NewCo are obliged to make these payments to the OldOC liquidators (BT) on the scheduled laid out. Of course, given that NewCo are now in admin they're protected from action by BT for non-payment of these sums, but the fact is that as Birch has admitted, CVA1 has failed. The FL cannot ignore this and I don't think they are.

Question for Weston Super Saint re: CVA1. The UHY completion report clearly states that: What documents supercedes this and allows them to pay nothing at all until 2015?

You're wrong about Oyster - it's made travelling around London and surrounding areas so much easier that it used to be. If this system means that you don't have to wait 45 seconds for the serving mongs to try to count out £2.75 change it should also help reduce the queues for pies and beer in the concourses.

Thanks for the heads-up - I picked up my Coventry tickets yesterday, having done Barnsley but not Ipswich.
-
Barnsley OR Ipswich? I thought it was Barnsley AND Ipswich...
-
And then sells it (to the highest bidder) and pays creditors with the proceeds. Either way, Chinny gets his cash or "buys" Fratton. As above. There's not going to be much raised by liquidation anyway, so it'd have to be devalued by some amount to make any difference. AND that process would take an awful long time. No matter what Birchy says, he can't shake Chinny that easily.

I see Ho's throwing lots of **** in our direction again today in the hope that it'll distract from the continuing farce down his end of the M27. Ignore his retarded arguments chaps. He either knows he's wrong and is here on the WU or he actually thinks he's correct. The latter is more scary but either way, trying to reason with him is like trying to reason with a woman on the blob.

In the rush to get all the big earners off the wage bill at Pompey, I'm surprised they haven't loaned Riquelme out yet.
-
That would only clean 12,000 seats though - what about the rest?
-
And those refund vouchers will be redeemable against tickets bought next season, right? I see a problem there...
-
Going back over old, old ground, but there's no provision in AA's completion report that would allow for changes to the payment schedules. Where did this come from?
-
The greatest April Fool of all would be Pompey telling everyone they've made that CVA payment.
-
Rallyboy - nothing has been formalised in relation to CVA1 yet, because it hasn't failed, YET. I expect there'll be real, factual news about in April, when the next (first) payments are due.
