Just put an important meeting my calendar for 20th Feb.
-
Lots in there but 1 point - they still owe other clubs transfer fees. That'll be more money from the parachute payments that won't go to the CVA...
-
This talk of the FL advancing parachute payments - can the FL do this? Are they holding the money? I find it slightly difficult to believe that the PL handover £144m every year to the FL for them to dole out every now and then.
-
The offer was rebuked? Naughty offer.

Just a heads up chaps: How frequent is publication? The London Gazette is published each working day. Notices should be submitted by 11.30am two working days ahead of publication. What is publication time (online/print)? Publication time on this website is 3.30 pm. Printed copies are also available at this time.

Wind Up Pompey, Pompey Wind Up. Last time this happened HMRC pushed hard to have them wound up and forced them into Admin, motivated by a desire to serve a warning to football clubs. Now, with the challenge to the football creditors rule ongoing, will they be so keen?
-
Presumably the dispute is AA/Portpin/Chanrai demanding to see that JoCa has the cash and JoCo, not surprisingly, refusing to do so.
-
At the point in time that CSI were placed into Admin, PFC and CSI were not inextricably linked as single economics entities. CSI owning a NOS was enough to show that. The subsequent collapse of NOS and PFC's current financial situation doesn't change that. That's why we haven't yet seen a points deduction because of CSIs Admin. However, it seems clear that if PFC don't get some cash in pretty bloody quickly, they'll have an "Insolvency Event" event all of their own and will see their points tally rapidly reduced. Of course, all this is written with the fact in mind that the FL can pretty much do as they please - they always have the threat of withdrawing the golden share to dissuade any legal challenge to any decision they make.
-
Cashflow a grave issue? I for one am surprised at this news.
-
Portpin retained a charge over PFC even after they were "sold" to CSI (even though our resident toy salesman swore blind that wasn't the case) so I guess it's possible that any potential owner may well be dealing with Portpin...

"Mr Cala revealed that if he takes over the club he plans to merge Pompey with a company in the USA. Mr Cala said the merged company will operate as Pompey. But he added he could not legally disclose the private firm he plans to merge with." Could that legal reason be that it doesn't actually exist other than in his crazy head? And the idea of Brian Howe demanding an investigation into AA's conduct - investigation by who, exactly?

Rumour that Ipswich had £1m bid for Pearce and Ward turned down yesterday. I bet if they come back with the same bid in 10 days time they'll get a different answer...

Doesn't seem retired, Bucto... http://www.fcbayern.telekom.de/en/company/club/organe/00305.php

Why on earth would a man who "has been senior vice-president of the FC Bayern Munich members’ club and a member of the Supervisory Board" and who for "many years he served on the DFB League Committee and other DFB and UEFA committees, and is currently a member of the DFB taxation and economy committee and the organisation's licensing body." want to get involved in Pompey?
-
Yeah, that's the spirit! Pompey should just refuse to be sold to someone they don't like!

PFC TV http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/466bcd0ccb4f397d5311927e5a46809d/compdetails Who's gonna buy it? I'm too tight.
-
My only concern is that the daft skates have welcomed all their previous owners, claimed them to be good for the club and have been universally wrong. This time, they don't want this guy anywhere near the club and expect him to be a disaster. What if their 100% record of being totally wrong about their new owners continues?
-
I cannot wait for the IPO for Portsmouth Football Club. I might even buy some shares, just for the lulz.
-
Seems quite a delay. My CuriousOrange only just got published.
-
Comment from that latest News article Surely an intelligent bid would be a bid for a different club and to go nowhere near the Skates
-
Am I right in thinking the games that have (so far!) been confirmed as live on TV are: Leicester Birmingham Leeds Blackpool Is that it?
-
Corp Ho, Joca and PFC all combine to bring you Pompey's future home: http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=2341&e=product&pid=55213&pcat=buocean

With enough money to, what was it, make Abramovich look small-time?

Oooh, a Nigerian who has £298m in a bank account and just needs Lampitt's help to access the funds? If Lampitt just sends him £15000 to help access the fund they'll split the millions 50/50? Could be next
