I think the 1700 Walsall fans will find it easier to get to Southampton than 11,000 Saints fans would find it getting to Walsall, tbf.

Talking of agression from Saints fans - your posts in the last 30 minutes: Calm down Dear.

Drink less caffeine Poor season for me, for 1 reason and another. Only 8 I think.

Fixed for you

Any more news on the Mandaric turning Queen's evidence? If that's true, Storrie, 'arry and the DFCBs are in serious trouble.

Considering that "with a little bit of help and a few players [automatic promotion] might have been us this year" you really have to say that an average home attendance on 15707 is quite, well, crap. Hell, even when we had to play the likes of Jamie White, Jake Thompson and anyone else we could afford and ended up relegated bottom we still averaged 17849 at home. By my reckoning, that figure also puts "the best fans in the world" 13th overall in the Championship this year. MASSIVE FANBASE.

Yeah, I know chaps - just having a giggle at t'internet's expense. It was cold that night, if I recall correctly.
-
..we dominated the game, were the better side from start to finish, played superb passing, flowing football and should have won by 5 or 6. Hope we get the same this year

Nope. Did try when I went to see Steaua (I waited for the weather to improve as I seem to remember it being a little wet when we played there, not sure if anyone has mentioned that? In fact, I could be the only one on here to get sunburnt whilst watching Steaua) but nothing around the ground looked how I remembered it. It was always quite funny getting the train out of Bucharest from Gard du Norde and seeing the good old Ibis (and that's a crappy part of town, it really is) and I used to go to the Harp quite a bit (I'm sure many on here went there) and also watched the 2007 Champions League Final (Liverpool lost to someone...) in the Dubliner. I remember getting a taxi back to the airport early in the morning and thinking it was a bit of a grim ****hole but I would honestly recommend a return trip to anyone if they go when the sun is shining. It's a cracking city.

Almost opposite, yeah. On the corner of Regina Maria and Libertatii (which is the road you where on when you took the photo, looking towards Piata Constituti)
-
You can see my old falt in that photo. That road and the square were also used as the pitlane for the FIA GT racing in 2007. That was odd.

That pre-match interview from Clotterill was gold: "Whether we have new owners or are under the old owners, there'll be a budget. What I don't understand is why we can't talk to players about next season now." Perhaps Steve, because under the current owners the budget will be roughly ****-all?

What colour is your poo?

If it's not Nemanja Vidic I'll be calling for Cortese to resign.
-
I hope so. It would be much better to give up on automatic promotion now anyway and settle for the play-offs.

the ones that got away..or left of their own accord

Too slow and immobile to make it, imo. Although I would have said the same about Mike Williamson and Gary Monk, so... -

And as Lee Hoos (remember him) confirmed at the time he was talking Wilde up and Lowe down and had plenty of reason to stick the knife into Rupert - there was no way that Fulham (where he was at the time) would have sold the pair for that amount. Saha alone went for £12m when he left for Man Utd not much later. -
All 11,000 of them
