It's in our hands. Just goes to show that anyone can beat anyone on the day and those that say where are the points going to come from? The answer can't be predicted as long as you are a threat going forward.

Right now if we don't win at villa there's something wrong with us. We seem like a side likely to get points away from home which is nice. For anyone that watched today's game, stoke at home last game of the season will be the worst opponent for making the fans sweat if we need something from it to stay up. They can put you under pressure with one kick and I will be incredibly nervous against them as it can change suddenly and they are relentless.

Positives: stronger squad than I imagined with perfect team selection. The entire back four grew in stature and gained a hell of a lot of experience Negatives: when playing against 10 men it is essential to use the advantage and keep the ball. Sure stoke hoof over the midfield but I thought Davis for j rod could have provided an extra option to hold onto the ball. Earlier Mayuka could hbeen useful as an out ball. Both full backs was inviting pressure. 3-1 up against a side unbeaten at home since February and an open goal, that's game over and after a great first half I'm disappointed guly missed it. However, jay rod should have scored the one-on-one that lead to it. A question: how much does Crosby have a say in the subs? I always see him with the folders and doing the talking while Adkins listens. If Adkins is listening to this advice, he needs to stop listening.

If you were given £15m to spend on one player in January?

I don't take any heart in the fact that other goalkeepers are making blunders. Ours need to stop. Keepers aren't helping us out and gifting us goals but we've given away too many this year.

Worth looking to poach Chris wondolowski from san Jose earthquakes, even as a loan until the summer and see how he does. He scored 27 in 34 for a side that finished down the table. Won MVP with 90% of the votes over henry and the rest. Apparently lost terry to score against Chelsea in pre season and terry was heard saying "your movement is incredible". If we don't take him can see another aide going for him. Worth a punt? -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/gossip/ Take a look at the bottom story by the metro.

As a wide midfielder I don't think that applies. Lallana is a winger, Ramirez is not, completely different players. Non argument.

People tend to see football players as one dimensional. Lee is pacey, has a great work ethic so would track back, scored a great goal against derby from the inside left position, linked up well with Lambert everytime he played last year. The most logical type of player to bring in would be someone who would give sunderlands poor defence no time on the ball, that's lee. When have you seen him play in that position with the quality of our first team around him and in our system everyone is interchangeable, so we don't want a wide left player more an inside forward.Shoot me down if you actually have a better idea for lallanas replacement but Rodriguez is never a left winger as we found out to our expense earlier this season, guly has only ever done anything for us as a second striker, Ramirez has to play in the hole, how can you waste the talents of our best player on the wing? Options are limited but we need the best make shift. Can Reeves play there, probably a good understanding with Shaw?

Davis Clyne Fonte Yoshida Shaw Cork Schneiderlin Puncheon Ramirez Lee Lambert Gazza Richardson? Hooiveld Davis Guly Mayuka Rodriguez

Why is he not good enough? Seems strange that the more he has been out of the team through injury, the more he has been forgotten antherefordeemed not good enough. Not seen much of him but what we did he showed a great understanding with Lambert, fitted our way of playing and was really useful with his work rate. I for one would have him straight in for Lallana and he always scores for the u21s so why not give him a chance. 2 Japanese players in a premier league team at once can only do wonders for the Asian fanbase too.
-
I think it is more obvious with the villa, as there is a sudden emergence of academy players never before noticed. The only player we have in that regard is Shaw. Clyne was known at palace, Ramirez is obviously an international and wasn't undiscovered. Schneiderlin and cork have been playing for a while. Whereas villas Stevens, baker, Westlake is it? Etc are unknown quantities. Plus their entire back four is something like under 21 where it is usually in need of some experience.

I think QPR and Wigan will suffer most if they don't replace taarabt diakete and kone. We also play Wigan during that time.
-
Undecided. If its postponed that's 2 in December so we r much fresher against stoke and arsenal. Yet, it's probably a good time to play Fulham right now so a possible 3 points?

Just watches him against Blackburn in the featured fl show. I wouldn't want him if he was free. Would be the worst signing I've seen in a long time at st marys

Does anyone think bringing brek Shea in on loan from Dallas with their season finishing would be great business? Could do with a winger and he would fit the bill as an interchangeable front four player, with height for far post headers too. Possibly buy him in the summer, but allows us to spend a bit more on a solid centre back. -
Some people on here shouldn't waste their time posting, which for some is so regular it suggests a life on the sofa eating Doritos and watching Jeremy Kyle. The idea considers another option. I don't remember Marsden for his blistering pace, but he could cross and had good feet. Also, we played two up top last time so why not get them in the box for deliveries? I personally want Mayuka but that won't happen. People calling for j rod left wing have short memories of the constant moaning of his talents being wasted out of position. The fact is that the guy thought out of the box and its an option, maybe not the best. But the same old predators waiting for an opinion that isn't generic will not let it lie.
-
Scott dann is not a player that demands immediate first team action. Therefore 6m for a back up defender would be worse than j rods fee. We need to strengthen at the back, but strengthening is upgrading what we've got, not adding another average one and losing 6m in the process.

Watching it on tv our fans didn't turn up until the goal. Atmosphere was tense but quite a few times I could hear reading fans in the distance but not majorly loud. Sang a lot for McDermott only took two minutes for championees, but all in all there was a nothing atmosphere in the ground for such a big game.
-
Got a feeling we may see Mayuka for Rodriguez as the second half progresses. Would love to see him off of Lamberts flicks.
-
Don't agree. He went home due to unfortunate circumstances and returned yesterday. Adkins may have him on the bench as he isn't sure of his mental state. If he needs him, I think it will be more obvious as to whether he is up for having an impact on this game or if even during the game his head isn't in it.
-
I have a bad feeling for this game. Will be nerve racking to watch. Reading just seem to know their jobs and any defensive lapses will be punished by Roberts. He and le fondre really troubled our defence last year but I'm hoping they're more treasured this time around. Readings pass completion ratio is the worst in the league (2 out of 3 completed) so with our extra midfield man we should dominate possession, but I worry if your centre backs are left exposed. Also losing Shaw could be massive with Robson-kanu in form.

This is about HCDAJFU not breaking transfer news. Those are three left backs who have proven capable in the premier league. Yes matt phillips along with Kjaar and given would give us a strong enough squad to stay up with ease as shown above.
