  1. Standing areas it's inevitaly easier for the louder folk to congregate and once you've got a solid group making some noise you'l find more join in, simple critical mass theory Maybe post super stadium expansion we can chuck some "safe standing" (I love the fold up fold down ones used in Germany) behind one goal like at Dortmund and group together some of the more vocal lot.
  2. Feeling v doom and gloom about this one. My spurs supporting housemate is going back to see this one for his birthday and he fancies an easy win for them too. Think we'l lose but hope we show something else then we did against wba. Jos out, was woeful saturday. Boruc Clyne Fonte Yoshida Forren Cork Morgan Punch Davis Lallana Rodriguez Puncheon will hopefully play with a man with a point to prove, Lambert has looked lacking sharpness last few weeks, would like to see him as an option off the bench, a five man midfield should keep us solid while allowing for quick counter attacks.
  3. Fair play, I should think we might be in similar spirits had we had your season, all the best and good luck for the rest of the season. Hopefully next year we'l give you at least one better game, maybe even two!
  4. At the end of the day it's up to MP. I think he'l get to know his squad by next season and if he still feels having AL is cpt is best then thats that, if a change is to come it'l be over the close season. Personally im happy for Lallana to stay as he's been a big part of our club for years and has earnt the chance to lead the side out BUT I seriously hope he'l be a bit more vocal next season in games like yesterday.
  5. Likely but Cork is kind of wasted at rb
  6. Thanks, I'l keep an eye out.
  7. Anybody able to post a link/give a summary to penniless students without sky?
  8. A good bunch but free coaches, an early lead, dominant performance and a bit of handbags on the pitch. Plenty for them to sing about But fairplay all the same.
  9. Have you seen the prices?!? You want a bunch of young passionate fans then get NC to whack in some cheap safe standing when we expand and make the tickets nice and cheap! Sorted To be fair I think we're not as bad as all that and it's a bit rich complaining about the lack of atmosphere when you only going to three matches a season ... not exactly creating much atmosphere for the other forty odd games! Hopefully we'l stick on songs for the likes of MP or something ironic about Forren's whereabouts ...
  10. Am I alone in thinking Ramirez actually looked decent until he was a total d**k and got himself sent off? Not going for the whole "is he/will he be good enough for us longterm debate" but he came on, found space, played a few good passes, ran at their back line a bit and I genuinely felt optimistic he might make something happen. That being said his only corner was woeful. Why he takes them I dont know! For all his lack of footballing nous Fox can hit a decent deadball.
  11. If we had won today I could see it happening as we would be "safe" but, with us still needing one more win (lallana's goal that was is starting to look more of an issue now!), i'd imagine Richardson at rb Clyne to lb but then Poch keeps surprising me ...
  12. I think the players and manager are the best judge of this though I do feel AL could be more vocal. Certainly a poor game from him today but hardly alone!
  13. The lad he's thinking of is Targett. Think he meant he might get a game not Shaw ...
  14. Can he play there? Has he ever?
  15. Who plays left back while Shaw is injured could be interesting as quite a few options. Richardon in either lb or rb with Clyne taking other side. Cork/Chambers/Stephens in at rb Clyne to lb. Targett in as lb, if ready for debut. Yosh moved across to lb? Hopefully Cork and Yosh stay in position, Cork is wasted in defence and Yosh is NOT a left back as has been proved this season while he will hopefully stay in cb alongside somebody who isnt Hoiveld (please god!). I'd go for Richardson or one of the young lads.
  16. Will try to keep this in context but what a total lot of dross that was! Really struggling to find positives. Wait, found one, Stoke tickets turned up this morning ... hopefully a different side turns up for that one!
  17. Hoiveld, too tight. Clyne caught out. Seriously are defence have been so poor today!
  18. Woah lets not all panic just yet, we've been second best but not by a long way, hopefully we'l come out better in the second half. A very solid bench to pick from. We still should be safe no matter todays result and we all knew Fox struggles for position, our formation allows us to leave space out wide when defending as midfielders dont always know which runners to pick up and Jos will never have pace. Fancy us to score in the second half, a point will do. Holiday mentality cliches in abundance!
  19. At least wait till five o'clock, jeees!
  20. Corr just frustrating! Jos is looking like the sort of player he was at the start of the season, far too easy for wba to put it over the top! Be interesting to see if MP makes any changes at half time ..
  21. Depends how you acquire the other child ...
  22. Theo I think so, we were in serious decline when we left. Not sure how he would have developed with us or if he'd gone elsewhere but he's certainly doing well if not spectacularly so. Chamberlain you may have a point. Could have been a pivotal part of our side and would have had plenty of game time and, if we continue to progress, he could have moved on to the top level with us. Either way both players are good lads and we should be proud. Between Bale, AOC and Theo there arent too many young british players around as exciting as those coming through our academy! All three > Wellbeck
  23. Squad or first team? Don't see him as better then what we've got yet but plenty of potential and ticks the young english boxes
  24. Nathan Redmond? Telegraph have him linked with Fulham, WBA and Norwich. Brum are seriously skint so surely less then £5mil, always liked the look of him and still v much in the "young and hungry" camp at nineteen with room to imrove under Poch. To be honest I'd kind of forgot about him but still, any opinions?
