Surely all that needs to be said on this is 'it has been two games'. It'll take awhile for people to get used to it and make something of it but it has the potential to be far better than it was before. `A good side effect might be that the Chapel and Northam decide to also get involved in making noise now the away fans are near them. It takes us all but it ain't gonna happen if everyone's moaning about it.

Golf is a very low impact sport relative to football. No running so no additional load on the body. Nobody tackling you whilst you take a swing. No sustained sprints. No moving at speed on your legs in different directions. A 70 year old can play golf but not competitive football. Ross can play golf as much as he likes and in no way would it suggest anything out of the ordinary.

=sum(xg*6) for that splendid excel/new football speak comedy

I highly doubt this would distract him, might even fire him up more. Like most managers and players, he was probably shagging members of the marketing or team staff too, getting your end away is hardly going to distract you from what is a reasonably uncomplicated job. Even NASA pilots and technicians probably have sex. We British do have a weird relationship with sex and the idea of it.

Do you know who I blame? Kit man Forbsey. I reckon he is the source of the information on potential transfers 😎
-
Needs to be done by fans, not the club committee
-
Victor Hugo could be quite miserables if he has to leave though

Hi Dad 😎

a 6 was once a 4

We need them all. A better goalkeeper is vital but so is someone capable of unlocking a defence or heaven forbid having a crack from outside the box, and a centre forward are too. Stopping silly mistakes at the back won’t cure our inability to score.

These things have been said for the past 30 years so an implosion may not be imminent.

That middle image could relate to quite a few players in our books 😎

Who was the last signing that genuinely got you excited?

It was fun but the measure of a successful club should be over a longer period than 2 seasons. It isn’t impossible. -

Alderweireld suggested we were on a different track, which we briefly were. Exciting times, even if they ultimately led nowhere. -
Worrying when this is often the only time we actually create any goal scoring opportunities!
-
It isn’t an outrageous prediction. Saturday’s match against Getafe highlighted the glaring problems in the team. Poor goalkeeping and an inability to create meaningful chances, or when they do arrive, finish them. Based on that, relegation is most likely at the moment unless we can improve those characteristics.
-
We could still be playing now and wouldn’t have scored a goal. When it comes to attacking, this squad is blunt and it’s tough to see where goals will come from.
-
I like your optimism on some of these players but some of those numbers are pretty high. Baz - due to limited number of goalkeepers he may go for more. Larios - free to £2m Edozie - £7m and that would be us pulling a team’s pants down. Mara - agree Alcarez - unfortunately has not progressed and a loan to Juve didn’t help, probably would have been better going to a lower level Italian club. Will leave for no more than £8m at some point. Sulemana - has done nothing so see Edozie. He is an international so perhaps a little higher fee than Edozie but £10m max. It’s like when we got relegated from the Premier League last year time with people over rating our players. On current form and historical performance, none of the above get in a Premier League competitor.

McCarthy is not at all the standard needed. Neither are our creative players and forwards. 3 or 4 players of real quality needed, 3 as a minimum.
-
Hopefully everyone at the club is fully motivated to get us back above them. Brighton have plenty going for them, Bournemouth should be the first we return above.
-
Still need: A decent GK An attacking/creative midfielder Another strong CF or a 72, 33, 16.5 in modern parlance
-
Mara and Sulemana need to discover motivation to succeed. Younger players who want to succeed demonstrate it, and people can see it. Both of the penalties demonstrate a lack of desire and that has been shown by these two players for most of their time at Saints. They may still come good, but there are no real signs of the necessary commitment to succeed in a sport where you get just over 10 years as a professional. They are currently wasting their 'talent' and writing themselves off with their lack of effort.

He’s dead. So Grateful Dead. Had a lead singer called Jerry Garcia. Garcia is a golfer with the first name Sergio. Sergio Tacchini was pronounced Toshini in England. John Toshack shared the first part of that. Tosh was Peter Tosh and he was in the Wailers with Bob Marley. Marley sort of rhymes with mardy. Roy Keane is a bit mardy at times and played for Nottingham Forest. Forests have trees. Trees have leaves .KWP is leaving. Other than that, absolutely no idea. Never was that good at riddles. I do like the posts though as it makes you excited something might happen, kind of like when the wife is in a better tha usual mood.

I’m gonna suggest you might not get the accurate information you want here
