Useful too - they seemed to have 2 players close in on Pelle all game, which freed up space for others. Pelle doesn't always score, but he contributes so much, and works bloody hard.
-
LOL!!! Yikes!
-
You do know we've just beaten Man U?! At Old Trafford?? Today is a happy day - share the love, Ceebs!
-
I couldn't believe it when Pelle his the post....AGAIN! Love the guy, but he is Postman Pelle.
-
Just watched the Tadic interview and I love how relaxed the players are - no hype or over excitement. Just an emphasis on focussing on the next game. This is a winning mentality. Which is the complete opposite to my state of mind at the moment!!
-
I haven't!! Heart still pumping like crazy!
-
If he gets assists, it doesn't matter if the opposition was worried or not! I know what you're getting at, but I think he was of these less flash players who increasingly plays an important role for winning....
-
According to Shurlock's memory, x2 assists from dead ball x3 from open play. So maybe doing better than you recollect?
-
Exciting lineup! Couple more JWP assists would be nice....
-
Impressive memory, Shurlock. They don't call you that for nothing.
-
Very interesting, particularly as he's been out for a large chunk of the season. I'd be interested to know what those assists were (corners, free kicks or open play). You can't argue with the numbers...

Which would you prefer: Finish in 5th place with Spurs and Liverpool below us, and thrashings of Man U, Spurs and Liverpool (6-0 with 2 Lovren own goals) to get there. Finish in 4th place, with Liverpool and Spurs above us, with both having beaten us along the way, and Lallana scoring his first Premier League hat-trick against us. I've made both scenarios ridiculous enough so that they can't jinx us. Although if any of this did happen, I would be considered the second coming.

Well, I guess she just ain't your style of humour then. To a vast majority of people: she's bloody brilliant.

Julia Davis is absolute genius and my complete hero. Nighty Night was brilliantly evil. I wish I could be her best friend. Any Jo Brand is bloody brilliant. How anyone can say otherwise is beyond me. Sorry a bit late on this thread!

God, I'm having the same experience - who designed this thing and thought it would be an improvement - it's insane!
-
Ah, that's very kind of you to say so
-
Ahh, no way. I moved out about then, after 20 odd years. We missed each other!
-
I Tarrou. Respect.

Great stat Vectis. So I think that rules out all of Charlie's argument, Early dark nights are a bit depressing though. While Charlie didn't mention it himself, I'd like to put that point forward to back up his post...

The players I'll be psychologically at peace with (even though the immediate pain will be strong) if they leave: Schneiderlin Alderweireld Ward Prowse (bizarrely) Pelle Tadic Fonte Bertrand The people I will hysterically cry over: Koeman Clyne Wanyama Targett Reed Reed Rodruigez The ones I can't predict my reaction, but I suspect tears might be involved: Mane Gallagher No idea why some are in one category and others in the other. But that's the way it is. Thanks for listening, this was therapeutical.
-
Well, yeah, that's a more concise way of saying it
-
Oh Charlie. You make me feel so depressed! This is just one game and only worth three points. You don't lose a season based on three points. Plus we've already proven we can go through a bad patch but are strong enough to come back and beat Everton, draw with Chelsea, and then thrash Arsenal! Have more faith. Though have got to admit the weather puts me in a bad mood too...

Was that taken from their forum? Great quote if so. Having a quick read, I can't believe how many of our first team they consider worthy of being a 'back up' for one of their current players...really??!
-
I'm assuming Clyne is faster too...
-
The guy deserved it - Osvaldo was in so much space!
