Still waiting for the poll to be updated to include Barry and Hart while I make up my mind as to which of the two I'd vote for.

Here here. I was calling for his head after the WBA game. Shame on me.

Cracking stuff.

That is indeed Gaston. The question remains - where and when?

"Adkins axe ill-judged by Saints dictator" Couldn't agree more with anything said (except I think we can snatch a draw against City) http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story/_/id/1331967/keegan:-adkins-sacking-was-ill-judged-by-southampton-dictator?campaign=rss&source=soccernet&cc=5901

I wonder how long a winless streak it will take before Cortese runs out of patience?

How many points needed for "safety"?
110_Persaint replied to anothersaintinsouthsea's topic in The Saints
Do you arrive to that conclusion based solely on the fact that fewer points are needed to stay up? Quite the opposite in my view - this proves that the table is so tight after say 6th or 7th that any team can beat any team. It's more competitive and far more stronger than seasons past. Teams like Swansea, West Brom and Stoke at times have been nothing short of brilliant. The likes of them and other mid-table teams can give ANY non-champions league team across the continent a run for their money IMO. If such a poor league this year, why are a pretty decent team such as ourselves doing really bad? -
Reading are going down. They'll get found out sooner or later. Mark my words.

Bear is proving to be quite brilliant when it comes to comedy. The formation? clever. The spelling? GENIUS!

Somewhere behind the striker. Unless Rickie gets injured (fingers crossed) one of the '3' in the 4-2-3-1, most likely on the right.

basically injured in layman's terms

---------------Boruc----------------- --Clyne---Forren------Yoshida--Shaw- ---------Cork-------Morgan---------- -Davis--------Lallana---------JayRod- -------------Lambert----------------- for me. I suppose if Gaston is fit you could replace Davis with him and swap flanks with JayRod.

LMFAO at Bear's table As for me, I like to do a worst-case (realistic) scenario with these things. Sadly, it ended up with us going down with Villa and QPR F**king Wigan finish a point above us.

By the end of the season (Stoke at home) Mayuka will be a regular in the starting XI. Mark my words. You heard it here first.

Must say I am very disappointed. I deliberately left out the word "bite" to see what you guys could come up with, and there weren't any takers? Seriously? " Chaplow shows literal side to his famous "bite" " " Chaplow takes "bite" to whole new level " I know we're on the verge of relegation and it's been an awful season so far, but it's not the end of the world. Cheer up lads!! (and lasses if there are any)

...if he wants to get a slice of the action. What a load of bannocks. IMO it's time for him to rise to the occasion and earn his dough. Thought I'd wedge this one in the main board. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2274628/Cristiano-Ronaldo-massive-birthday-cake.html

One of the most overrated films in history. What people see in it I do not know. Slow-moving, boring, blatantly fake, today ridiculously outdated, and about as scary as Pooh Bear.
-
lol to be fair I was a bit of a noob. Although I know I was banned eventually I actually don't recall the reason why but I'll take your word for it mate! So are you still into modern day emo and american pop-punk? That along with the spiffing classic stuff (Dead Kennedys, Buzzcocks, Black Flag, SLF etc.)? You were the only person there on my wavelength. I recall you had quite the taste in music back in the day. Best amongst all forum members IIRC.

So a great performance by England (how poor were Brazil?) but of greater concern to us is Saints players - how did Davis, Yoshida and especially Forren get along in their games? Also as typical both Lens and Astori played in the Netherlands - Italy game and had blinders. Why is is that whenever we are linked with but miss out on a player they turn out to be brilliant... sign them and they turn out crap?
